Story
Austin is at Project POOCH. To learn more and to apply, go here - pooch.org/austin I’m still figuring out how to be my sweet social self with new people, so please be patient with me! My human friends say that I am so cute and sweet. My dog friends say “woof-woof, bark” which ruffly translates to: “He’s a blast!” Austin is a sweet young man who is learning as much as he can about the world. He can be sensitive about new situations but is realizing that he doesn’t have to be scared of novel experiences. Since coming to POOCH he has discovered that other dogs aren’t scary, they’re actually a LOT of fun! He is enjoying playgroups with POOCH and daycare dogs, and is getting a lot of social learning from them, like how to play in the pool. He would probably enjoy having a dog friend to live with, maybe they can even help boost his confidence. The youth are doing a good job working on his basic cues, like sit and down, and his life skills, like crate training and handling for the vet and grooming. He can be slower to pick things up compared to others in his cohort, so would benefit from some patience in a handler. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. Bonus, he can be ultra goofy!

Story
Meet Stone! The gorgeous 4-year-old purebred AKC Labrador. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. Happy, playful, and the definition of a great family dog. He LOVES ball and has high energy for adventures, but hes also extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. He's been great kids. He would do well as an only dog or with a female dog of similar size that he can play with. He has some prey drive so he would do best in a home without cats or chickens. We are looking for a forever home that can give him the activity and attention he thrives on. Very low adoption of $100. Call/text: 541-337-1752

Story
Meet Cupcake - This is a courtesy post; contact Jeremy directly at 541-337-1752. 5-year-old purebred yellow Labrador Retriever | Spayed | Looking for her forever family Cupcake is every bit as sweet as her name. After years of being a devoted mama and producing several litters, she has been rescued, spayed, and is finally ready to live a real life with a real family—the kind that plays ball in the yard, snuggles on the couch, and lets her be a beloved companion instead of a working brood. She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on connection. Cupcake lights up around kids and other dogs, and she would be happiest in a home where she can be part of the daily rhythm of family life. She loves a good game of fetch and is just as content curling up for long cuddles. She has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to live with. Great with: Kids • Other dogs (especially a male playmate) Not a match for: Cats or chickens She is used to seeing farm animals through the fence line and takes that in stride. Cupcake currently has a wonderful playmate named Stone (a male yellow Lab) and would do beautifully if they could stay together. She would also do well as an only dog or with another compatible male companion. Cupcake has already given so much. Now she just wants a home where she can be someone’s girl—the one who greets you at the door, drops a ball at your feet, and melts into your side at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a loving, well-socialized Lab who is ready to retire into a life of love, Cupcake is waiting. Give us a call to meet her!

Story
Jackson (Jax) is looking for his family! Please adopt me now <3 This guy is a fun loving 70 lbs American Bulldog mix with possibly some other bully and/or Weimaraner mixed in. He is about 6 years old.  He loves to go for walks, would be an excellent running/hiking buddy.  He is so crate trained that if you say kennel, he goes right to it.  He also will put himself to bed in his crate if he feels you are staying up too late.  He has that awesome puppy energy but the smarts to immediately calm down as soon as you say his name.  He knows sit, lay down, go out (from the kitchen lol) and walks beautifully on a leash. Best as an only dog because his past experience with other dogs is mixed. He does best with a strong leader. No cats, but he is okay with chickens. Out of an abundance of caution, no small kids even though he's shown no issues with kids and actually likes them. He's fixed, chipped, and current on his vaccinations. Adoption fee of $250 includes the aforementioned items. Currently in need of new foster (or adopter) in Oregon. He can be adopted in Oregon or Southwest Washington. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Please apply here: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/0b9tH5evbdz.
