Story
Jeter is the sweetest and bestest dog in the world. He is very calm and well trained guy who falls in love with everyone and everything immediately. He listens very well and even with his older age, plays like a joyful puppy. Jeter has very severe separation anxiety from an event that occurred before I adopted him in 2021. After a long time of trying to create environments that make him feel safe and at home, he still cannot be left alone at all. Jeter is the best companion and it breaks my heart that I cannot take him with me on this next chapter of life. He really needs a person or family that will take him on all the adventures and be home with him all the time so he doesn’t have to be alone. He is very very healthy and has no medical needs and has a long life ahead of him I hope he can spend in a home that will love him as much as I do. Please contact me with any questions or any details you would like more information on.

Story
Meet Cherry! She is currently 19 pounds, 5 months old, and we think she may be a Labradoodle/Schnauzer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Cherry’s video here: https://youtu.be/5XlNaiC3kuY?feature=shared You can tell just by looking at Cherry Slush that she’s a shy, sweet puppy. We can tell you, the way to her heart is TREATS. Keep those treats coming and she will be your best friend. (She needs to put on a few pounds too.) Cherry warms up quickly, because she’s a people-pleaser. She will approach cautiously with tail wagging, just looking for affection and attention. Cherry is great with other dogs (she comes from a litter of 4), and kids of all ages. She showed no interest in the cats that we could tell, but we are happy to cat-test her properly if needed. Cherry is a gorgeous fluffy chocolate colour, with a milk chocolate nose to match. Her floppy ears are irresistible and her golden eyes are so striking. We love the lighter tan fur around her snout, on her chest, and (only slightly) at the back of her head. Cherry is a stunning little fluffball! Cherry found a comfortable ‘home base’ to sit and relax and returned to that base several times just to chill and snooze. She is very mellow and calm, and is the most low-maintenance puppy that we have met! We can see this loyal pup easily assimilating into any loving home. Cherry is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Strawberry's video here: https://youtu.be/qlLGNC8qkNY?si=b6BAodgRE80Ov3UA Strawberry Slush is a calm and gentle soul that loves treats, snuggles, and belly rubs. That, and the fact that she’s a giant soft fluffball, is pretty much everything you need to know. Strawberry is great with people and kids of all ages, and just wants your affection and a comfy place to land. We love the way she sits next to people and just leans up against them – it’s too cute. Her gorgeous eyes will melt you and her happy, thwacking tail will make you smile. This is one lovable fluffy pup! Strawberry is a beautiful chocolate fluffers, with a matching chocolate nose. Her golden eyes are truly mesmerizing – we can’t stop gazing deep into her eyes (and she will hold your gaze – what a connection). If you find that special spot to scratch (hint: it’s behind her ears), you will be rewarded with a Strawberry Slush smile, and it’s totally worth it. Strawberry was more interested in treats than toys or soft stuffies, but we are betting that will change once she gets settled and feels safe at home. Strawberry is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires.
