Gobi 4 mos, male, 25 lbs Labradoodle LIKES: Gobi loves people and other dogs. He loves to play and is super cuddly. DISLIKES: Gobi is afraid of cats. He is not aggressive towards them, but he seems to be terrified of them and he screams when he sees them in his foster home. He would be happiest in a home without cats. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Gobi is shy when meeting people. He is very excited to see people, but needs a bit to let them pet him. POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Mostly potty trained in his foster home. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Gobi sleeps through the night in a crate and goes in on his own to rest throughout the day. OTHER/MISC: As with all puppies, Gobi would benefit from puppy classes to help him learn to be the best dog he can be. With his shy personality, he would likely do best in a home with another dog, and a securely fenced yard. He will be a large breed adult and may grow to be 65-75 lbs. Hi, I’m Charlie — a 74-pound Labradoodle with a big heart, a fluffy coat, and a serious talent for snuggling. I’m 9 years old, but don’t let that number fool you. I still love adventures, being outside, and making new dog friends… but I’m also pretty chill for a Labradoodle. I used to live in a house with a big fenced backyard where I could come and go as I pleased. Honestly, that was my dream setup. About a year ago, my person had to move to an apartment, and while I’ve tried my best to adjust, apartment life just doesn’t give me enough outdoor time. I really miss having space to stretch my legs and relax in the yard. I’m friendly with other dogs and love to play outside with them. On walks, I’m actually pretty good on leash most of the time — especially for a big guy like me. I do get excited when I meet other dogs or spot a cat, though. Cats are definitely not my thing, so I need a cat-free home. I’ll bark and try to chase them if given the chance. I know “sit,” “down,” and “stop,” and I’m very food motivated, which makes me eager to learn. I’m affectionate, confident, playful, gentle, and not protective over food, toys, or space. Mostly, I just want to be near my people. I’ll happily sleep in my own bed, but if you let me sleep with you? Even better. I’m a total snuggle bug. I love car rides, outdoor time, and being included in whatever my humans are doing. My ideal home would have compassionate people, a fenced yard, and plenty of love and attention. Another friendly dog could be fun too! If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who enjoys both adventures and couch cuddles, I’d really love to meet you.

Ally is at Project POOCH. To learn more about her and to apply, go to pooch.org/ally I would love to be your new shadow! My favorite place to be is with my people. I am sweet as sugar and will lean into you for pets. I would be happy with just a few short walks and some time to play. Ally is a loving girl, she definitely is social with all of her friends. Her signature greeting is to lean her face into your hand and stare lovingly up at you. She enjoys a nice cuddle and is content to lay next to us while we do office work, so maybe you need a work from home companion. While we don’t know her history with toys, we’ve found Ally to be very bouncy and playful with all kinds of toys at POOCH. She bounds after toys and will play with them while still in a play bow. She also likes to bound around you in the yard, like you would expect from a deer. As much as Ally loves to play with people, she would much rather keep her distance from other dogs. She is not a dog park dog and shows signs of significant stress in the presence of other dogs without handler support. We are working on expanding her comfort zone so she can be successful on walks near other dogs without stress. Ally is a smart girl, working on her basic cues and handling skills for a lifetime of grooming. She’s good on walks and loves spending time with the youth. She is just looking for a home of her own, with people of her own to love!

My human friends say that I am so cute and sweet. My dog friends say “woof-woof, bark” which ruffly translates to: “He’s a blast!” Austin is a sweet young man who is learning as much as he can about the world. He can be sensitive about new situations but is realizing that he doesn’t have to be scared of novel experiences. Since coming to POOCH he has discovered that other dogs aren’t scary, they’re actually a LOT of fun! He is enjoying playgroups with POOCH and daycare dogs, and is getting a lot of social learning from them, like how to play in the pool. He would probably enjoy having a dog friend to live with, maybe they can even help boost his confidence. The youth are doing a good job working on his basic cues, like sit and down, and his life skills, like crate training and handling for the vet and grooming. He can be slower to pick things up compared to others in his cohort, so would benefit from some patience in a handler. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. Bonus, he can be ultra goofy!

ALSO THANK YOU BETH PARKER ~TENDER TOUCH GROOMING FOR HER SPA DAY 🥰 Forever home needed Hi, my name is Maya and I'm 9 years old. I just got spayed, had my teeth cleaned, and got a microchip. My foster mom helped me have my puppy and comforted me during labor and birth. My personality allowed her to crawl into the whelping box and we only knew each other for 12 hours. She says I'm very smart and goofy! I'm a puppy attitude in a 82# body. When I'm excited, I like to grab a "stuffie" and show them to you. I've NOT made one mistake in the house! I've been here 3 months, so I'm pretty proud of how housebroken I am. I'm very good at sitting when told, and stand quietly when getting my leash on. I definitely need a reminder about leash walking. I'm pretty strong and get "hearing selective" when something catches my attention. A fenced yard would be best. I like to try and scare other dogs, but would like a submissive male to play with. I'm probably a counter surfer and may get into the trash if given the opportunity. I stole a bag of treats off of a shelf. I'm an opportunist. I love lying by the slider door, in the sun and am good in the house. I'll talk to you if I need to go outside. All in all, I'm a very good girl. Please give me an opportunity to prove to you.
