Story
Piper came to us when her owners moved out of state. She is 8 years old and loves to nap in the sun, but is energetic when it’s play time! Piper loves hikes, has good name recall and is good about checking in when she is off leash. She is picky about which dogs she plays with! Likewise, she takes some time to warm up to new people, but loves getting petted once she knows you. At home, does well with puppies, deferential dogs, and cats who are comfortable with dogs. She plays well with kids, but I advise a child free home, or one with older kids. We are rehoming her because after a year of trying to train her to live with a baby/toddler, it’s clear she won’t be successful or comfortable. And she deserves better! She’s very sweet and so worth loving! Piper has anxiety, which has improved over the years with training and medication, but like goal is to find a home that provides the best opportunity for her. No chickens or small animals. No babies/toddlers.

Story
Olive is a living adaptable female dog. We acquired her from a mutual friend of one of our daughters. Olive is 12-13 years old, we aren’t sure of her exact age wheel we got her. We believe she was around 2-3. She lives walks Ava is friendly around older large dogs not so much with small dogs. She lives to meet new people and have them pet and play with her. We are just not able to provide the activity levels she likes to enjoy.

Story
Lola is a 5.5 yr old, 35 lb miniature Australian Labradoodle (lab, poodle, cocker spaniel). My friend was part of a guardianship program, and Lola came from one of his dog's litters. She is a sweet, energetic dog who wants to cuddle and play and be part of the family. We have had several changes occur in our family that make it difficult for her to get the time and attention she needs. She is potty trained and very well mannered. She can be a bit of a scavenger and sometimes gets into food or trash that she shouldn't. She is excellent with other dogs and with children. Right after we got her as a puppy, my son was diagnosed with cancer, so I was unable to train her as much as I would have liked as we navigated that. Her biggest issue is that she is not very good with recall/listening when we go somewhere like the dog park. I have had occassions where it's time to leave and she thinks it's a big game and will not come back to the car, forcing me to chase her to get her back home.

Story
She is a sweet, loving companion who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. She has significant anxiety and is easily frightened by loud noises, car rides, unfamiliar places, busy walks, and changes in her surroundings. Because of this, she would do best with a retired or older adult who is home most of the day and enjoys a quiet lifestyle. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly loyal and loves nothing more than relaxing beside her person. She isn’t looking for adventure—just peace, patience, and someone who will love her for who she is. I will be very selective because she deserves the perfect forever home. If you think you can provide the calm, stable, predictable life she’s looking for, please message me and tell me about yourself and your daily routine.
