Story
This is my baby boy Cü (Cooh)! It breaks my heart to post this but we’re needing to Re-home him. My family is unable to give him the life he deserves so here we are.Cü is a smart, loving, and energetic Labradoodle. He’s 9 years old but still runs and plays like he’s 2. He loves to hike, explore, swim(especially), run, and of course chew on a bone on the back porch.Cü is a big boy, right around 90lbs. He can go from a big fluffy teddy bear to a well groomed athlete when he’s all trimmed up. Cü grew up with a family with children and dogs and loves people and dogs the same. Cü needs a home with a family that will engage with him and give him love. He would do great with other dogs or a family that wants to play and be active with him. Cü of course has his kinks. He still pulls a leash when he is walked and his recall skills aren’t the best. He does know simple commands such as sit, shake, stay, or “let me see your tummy!” Cü’s vaccinations are up to date and has been getting groomed.

Story
Say hello to Dakota! This beautiful girl loves running in our play yards, lounging in the dog pools, and belly rubs. She was adopted out but has come back to BAHS by no fault of her or the adopters. We have now learned the type of home that will be the best fit for Dakota. She needs to be in a very calm environment with only 1-2 people and no cats. Dakota also needs plenty of time to learn to trust, so she will need everyone in her future family to visit her for a few months before going home. Once this gorgeous girl gets to know you, she has plenty of love to give. Dakota is a Lab mix and was born on 11/7/2015. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and takes preventive flea/tick/heartworm medicine. As with all of our dogs, Dakota must be an indoor dog. If you are interested in meeting Dakota, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet, which you can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. If you cannot attend your scheduled visit, kindly text or call the volunteer you are meeting with before your scheduled visit. They are taking time out of their day to meet with you. Thank you!

Story
Quarantine Up Sept. 16th Meet Skittles! This precious little Poodle mix is about two years old and weighs approximately 15 pounds. She is incredibly sweet, gets along with everyone, and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap. She truly is just a wonderful little dog. Skittles was found roaming the streets of deep South Texas without a collar or identification. She was not spayed and had heartworm disease, which is unfortunately very common in the Southern states. She has since been spayed and treated for heartworms. Because of her Poodle-type coat, Skittles will require regular professional grooming. If you would like to see additional videos of her, just let us know! ❤️If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Whether you're adopting from us or anywhere in the southern states, please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease. It's endemic in the south. Quarantine Up Sept. 16th Meet Reggie! This adorable little Lhasa mix is between one and two years old and weighs just under 12 pounds. He was found on the streets of deep South Texas, but despite everything he has been through, he is incredibly sweet and loving. When you pick Reggie up, he nestles his little head beneath your chin, almost as if he is hugging you. He gets along with everyone and truly just wants someone to hold him and love him. Reggie has been treated for heartworm disease, which is unfortunately very common in the Southern states. He is doing well and is currently on heartworm prevention.
