Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. Say hello to Dakota! This beautiful girl loves running in our play yards, lounging in the dog pools, and belly rubs. She was adopted out but has come back to BAHS by no fault of her or the adopters. We have now learned the type of home that will be the best fit for Dakota. She needs to be in a very calm environment with only 1-2 people and no cats. Dakota also needs plenty of time to learn to trust, so she will need everyone in her future family to visit her for a few months before going home. Once this gorgeous girl gets to know you, she has plenty of love to give. Dakota is a Lab mix and was born on 11/7/2015. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and takes preventive flea/tick/heartworm medicine. As with all of our dogs, Dakota must be an indoor dog. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet, which you can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. Meet Wingman, a white Poodle and Mixed Breed (Small) who is ready for a fresh start. He is one of three siblings with Winston, Drumstick. Wingman is about 11.4 pounds, about 2 years old. Drumstick came to Tracy’s Paws Rescue as an owner surrender and we are grateful to have him with us. Wingman’s record notes an excellent temperament with everyone, and he has a gentle, easygoing way about him. He is looking for a home that will keep things steady and give him the companionship he has earned. Wingman is heartworm negative and Chagas negative. Wingman is located in Hondo, Texas.
