Story
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Luna has found herself in need of a new parent or parents to give her the loving home she deserves. Raised by a single woman, she has developed a wonderful personality that shines through even in these early days with us. We are still getting to know her better and will continue updating her profile as we learn more about her unique quirks and preferences, but so far she is settling in just fine and adjusting beautifully to her temporary surroundings. Luna gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home where she has canine companionship, though she is not particularly fond of cats and would do best in a cat-free environment. She thoroughly enjoys her toys and loves nothing more than settling down to chew on them for extended periods, yet she is respectful of household items and will not chew on anything that is not meant for her. A true cuddler at heart, she is happiest when she can curl up beside her people and become their devoted couch buddy for the evening. She is already housebroken and crate-trained, making the transition into a new home as smooth as possible. When Luna has a fresh haircut she clearly shows her Labrador side, with a neat and classic look, but when her coat is allowed to grow longer she begins to favor the taller, shaggier appearance of her Irish Wolfhound ancestry. Before she is ready for adoption she will receive an ovary-sparing hysterectomy to ensure she remains healthy while preserving as many of her natural instincts as possible.

Bishop is an amazing one and a half yr old Labradoodle. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He does need some work on the leash, but we are working on that! Bishop loves everyone he meets and absolutely thrives when playing with other dogs!! We are requiring another playful dog in the home, for any potential adopter for Bishop. Mylo is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever mix, about 95 lbs, and a deeply loved member of our family.His mom was a purebred Golden Retriever who was also a service animal, and Mylo inherited many wonderful qualities—he is smart, loyal, affectionate, eager to please, and very food motivated.He is very well trained, knows several commands and tricks, and learns new things quickly.Mylo is excellent with children and grew up in our home with two cats.He loves being with his people and being part of the family, and his goofy personality makes him incredibly special.We are facing an overseas relocation and, after much thought, have made the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home rather than put him through an international move.We are NOT in a hurry and have until next spring.Our priority is finding a loving, stable, permanent home where Mylo will truly be part of the family.We are happy to answer questions and allow time for potential adopters to meet and fall in love with Mylo!

She’ll be six years old in Nov. She’s hyper and loves people. Not great in the car in the beginning of the ride but calms down after a little while. She will bark at people, but only to get their attention so they’ll play with her. She is crate trained, but if you want her to go in the crate just tell her to go to her room. She loves water and playing outside. She does shed, but if you get her a haircut it’s definitely a lot less shedding I just got out of the navy and the place I’m living in won’t accept her living here.
