Story
Due to a recent divorce and a move to housing that cannot accommodate them, I am no longer able to provide the home they deserve. I am committed to helping financially by providing their supplies and records, transporting them wherever needed, and doing whatever I can to ensure they remain together.Finding the right home for Maggie and Motley is my highest priority. I am willing to personally transport them to their new home anywhere within a reasonable distance to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. My goal is not simply to rehome them—it is to find a family who will love and care for them as they deserve. After ten years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love, they deserve nothing less.I understand that adopting two senior dogs is a significant commitment, and I am happy to answer questions, provide veterinary records, discuss their routines and preferences, and help make the transition as easy as possible for both the dogs and their new family.

Meet Hazel Doodle! Hazel has settled into foster life beautifully and is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. We believe she’s a Goldendoodle, and her sweet, affectionate personality makes it easy to fall in love. At just 2 years old, Hazel is housebroken, knows basic commands like sit and shake, and has been wonderful with the children in her foster home. She’s also done great with the dogs she’s met, but prefers medium and large dogs and is skittish with small dogs. One of Hazel’s favorite things? Giving real hugs! If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close to her people, she’s your girl. Hazel currently weighs about 70 pounds but is a little underweight. We expect she’ll be closer to 80 pounds once she’s back to a healthy weight. She arrived at the shelter completely matted and had to be medically shaved, but her gorgeous coat is already starting to grow back—and so is her confidence. Hazel has left her past behind and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her the way she deserves. Think Hazel might be the perfect addition to your family? Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. Personality -He’s a low/medium energy doodle who is content with a daily walk (long or short, he’s ready) and then happily enjoying all the naps and cuddles. -He’s a huge fan of kids and the attention they give him. He will gladly soak up all of it. -He’s enjoyable to walk as his leash skills are fabulous. -He’s social and enjoys meeting and greeting new people. -He will make sure you feel celebrated when you return home each time. Just consider him your personal welcome committee. Ideal Home -Shadow’s ideal home will have a calm, submissive canine pal. He loves to run around the back yard with a buddy. -Shadow takes daily medication which controls his seizures. -He does fine when left out loose (as long as countertops are clear of food) when you have to leave for a bit. -He would do best in a home where he has consistent company. Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a 50-pound, 3-year-old, yellow lab mix who is now available for adoption in Texas! She is the perfect mix of sweet, gentle, and playful. She has been living with her foster family, including 2 dogs and 3 cats. She is completely respectful of the cats and loves her foster doggie friends. Willow is a total couch potato. While she still enjoys a relaxing walk, she is perfectly content to spend her Saturday morning napping in the living room or stalking squirrels in the backyard. She could spend her whole day perfectly content in a comfy dog bed with a good bone to chew. She can likely fit into any home that allows her to take her time to get to know one another. She'd likely do better in a quieter home with other animals. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was nervous at first being home alone, but has grown tremendously. Willow is house-trained. She has never had a single accident in her entire stay with her foster family. She is crate-trained and settles well in her crate. She can be nervous in new places, but adapts well when given patience and love. She is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. Willow is also extremely food-motivated. Her motivation, combined with her desire to please, makes for the perfect storm for a trainable dog. Willow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She is the sweetest girl looking for a loving home. She has so much love to give! Please apply to adopt Willow in Texas at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Available for adoption in Texas: Collins! At just one year old and about 60 pounds, Collins is the perfect blend of youthful energy and snuggles. Collins firmly believes the best seat in the house is whichever one is closest to you. Preferably touching you. Just to be safe. This beautiful girl with the biggest, most soulful eyes bonds deeply with her humans. Once you’re in her circle, you’re in for life. She follows her foster like a devoted little shadow and is convinced that every task is better when done as a team. Cooking dinner? Together. Folding laundry? Together. Sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing? Especially together. In Collins’ world, personal space is more of a suggestion. She can be shy when meeting new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. But once she feels safe, she melts. Truly melts. She’ll lean into you like she’s been yours forever. Collins takes her role as “loyal sidekick” very seriously. Batman had Robin. You’ll have Collins. She is currently building confidence during life’s solo moments, like when her people leave the house. Because she bonds so deeply, being alone hasn’t always been her favorite thing. The good news? She’s making wonderful progress with structure, consistency, and medication support. We’re already seeing her grow braver. She will need a patient, understanding home, committed to continuing that journey and cheering her on. Collins would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not and where she has a confident canine sibling. Another dog isn’t just a bonus for her; it’s truly important. She gains comfort and confidence from having a dog friend to follow and learn from. She loves other dogs and does well with cats, too! And if she wasn’t cute enough already, Collins knows some Spanish! Bilingual queen energy. She’s looking for a calm, stable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get unwavering devotion, endless snuggles, and a best friend who thinks you are the greatest thing that has ever happened. Collins is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, and officially ready to start her next chapter with her forever family. If you’ve been searching for a loyal little shadow with soulful eyes and an even bigger heart, Collins is waiting! Apply to adopt at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Meet Ollie — a 65 lb elastic band of enthusiasm held together by fur, optimism, and the faint hope that you dropped a snack. He’s 2 years old, tall, lanky, and moves with the confident wobble of a toddler in a cape. His knees have their own opinions. His life motto is “full send.” Ollie lives with a cat and dogs. The cat is the household deity; Ollie approaches her like a mortal at a sacred shrine, hoping not to be smote. He plays well with dogs and thrives at daycare. But his true soulmate is his foster family’s five year old daughter. If she runs, he’s beside her. If she drops a crumb, he materializes. If she’s plotting mischief, he’s already on the committee. Ollie isn’t just fun at home, he’s an absolute star out in the world. He spends his weekends at farmers markets, trails, and busy public spots, and he thrives in it. He loves meeting people, especially kids, greets other dogs politely, and will happily sit and wait while you chat. He would make an incredible companion for someone who wants a dog by their side for everything. Hiking, running, patio hangs, markets, camping trips, daily adventures… Ollie is ready. If you live an active, dog-friendly lifestyle, he’s your perfect sidekick. When he’s not out adventuring, Ollie turns into a cuddle blanket. He melts into couches, flops into beds, and tucks himself into his crate like it’s his personal spa. He LOVES his crate. He knows “sit” and “down”, walks nicely on leash, and is overall a very good boy… except when it comes to recall. He hears you. He considers it. He chooses chaos. He believes he is the neighborhood security system when it comes to squirrels and birds. He doesn’t chew furniture, but the trash can is his greatest temptation. Ollie is not apartment compatible. He needs a yard, an active family, and ideally a dog companion. He would do great with someone who works from home and would thrive going to daycare regularly. If you want a dog who is 50% cuddle, 50% chaotic good, and 100% comedy, Ollie is your guy. He’s house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to boost your serotonin daily. Apply to adopt Ollie at luckylabrescue.com!
