Story
Meet Hazel Doodle! Hazel has settled into foster life beautifully and is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. We believe she’s a Goldendoodle, and her sweet, affectionate personality makes it easy to fall in love. At just 2 years old, Hazel is housebroken, knows basic commands like sit and shake, and has been wonderful with the children in her foster home. She’s also done great with the dogs she’s met, but prefers medium and large dogs and is skittish with small dogs. One of Hazel’s favorite things? Giving real hugs! If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close to her people, she’s your girl. Hazel currently weighs about 70 pounds but is a little underweight. We expect she’ll be closer to 80 pounds once she’s back to a healthy weight. She arrived at the shelter completely matted and had to be medically shaved, but her gorgeous coat is already starting to grow back—and so is her confidence. Hazel has left her past behind and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her the way she deserves. Think Hazel might be the perfect addition to your family? Story
Meet Honey  Honey is a sweet Labradoodle mix puppy with an adventurous spirit, a curious mind, and a personality just as adorable as her name. She and her siblings are half Labradoodle and one quarter Catahoula, giving them the perfect mix of intelligence, personality, and puppy charm. Honey and her siblings came to us when they were just one week old after their mom was tragically hit by a car and passed away. These tiny babies needed around-the-clock care and were bottle fed until they were strong enough to take on the world themselves. Now Honey has grown into a confident, playful little pup who is ready to find a family of her own. Honey is one of the adventurous ones in her litter. She is energetic, brave, and always ready to explore the world around her. Whether she’s playing, climbing, or following an interesting scent, Honey loves using her brain and staying busy. This smart girl is curious about everything and loves figuring things out. Her intelligence, confidence, and fun-loving personality will make her such an exciting companion for a family ready to watch her learn and grow. Why you’ll love Honey:• Energetic and playful• Brave and adventurous• Very smart and curious• Loves exploring and climbing• Scent driven and loves using her nose• Confident little personality• Full of fun and puppy charm After losing her mom so young, Honey has been surrounded by love and care and has grown into such a happy, wonderful puppy. Now she’s ready for the next chapter — a forever family who will love her, teach her, and join her on all of life’s adventures. Apply to adopt Honey here:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/70992/generic Honey is located in Texas but can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate safe transport and offer video meet-and-greets to ensure it’s the perfect fit. She is currently getting vetted but will be available to go home when all vetting is complete in August. ##2742202##

Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of one of our metro areas (DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio), please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/raven and choose RAVEN from the drop-down menu.

Personality -He’s a low/medium energy doodle who is content with a daily walk (long or short, he’s ready) and then happily enjoying all the naps and cuddles. -He’s a huge fan of kids and the attention they give him. He will gladly soak up all of it. -He’s enjoyable to walk as his leash skills are fabulous. -He’s social and enjoys meeting and greeting new people. -He will make sure you feel celebrated when you return home each time. Just consider him your personal welcome committee. Ideal Home -Shadow’s ideal home will have a calm, submissive canine pal. He loves to run around the back yard with a buddy. -Shadow takes daily medication which controls his seizures. -He does fine when left out loose (as long as countertops are clear of food) when you have to leave for a bit. -He would do best in a home where he has consistent company. He’s all about his people! His family will need to continue working to build his confidence in being home alone. Are You a Match for Shadow Slate? Shadow Slate’s adoption fee is $650. Rehoming fee $850 but I paid $1700 plus $250 for this emotional support letter. I invested a lot due to vaccinations, vet visits, food, etc. I realized that I cant afford a pet right now and I dont have the time. I would like not to loose all of my moneyI bought him at 11 weeks and he is now 20 weeks old. Semi-potty trained. He has had his 4th round of vaccines.

Story
Pippin is a loving, loyal boy who will follow you from room to room and is always down for a big cuddle. He loves his humans, and lazing around on a big blanket. He is very loved and has been a wonderful companion, but needs a home where he can safely live without ANY other pets due to issues with reactivity to other animals. He loves kids and would be excellent in a home with older children (due to his size). There is no sweeter cuddle buddy, and he deserves the best home there is.
