She is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. Holly loves attention from her people and is always happy to soak up all the cuddles and love she can get. Another way to win Holly’s heart? Snacks! Story
Meet Hazel Doodle! Hazel has settled into foster life beautifully and is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. We believe she’s a Goldendoodle, and her sweet, affectionate personality makes it easy to fall in love. At just 2 years old, Hazel is housebroken, knows basic commands like sit and shake, and has been wonderful with the children in her foster home. She’s also done great with the dogs she’s met, but prefers medium and large dogs and is skittish with small dogs. One of Hazel’s favorite things? Giving real hugs! If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close to her people, she’s your girl. Hazel currently weighs about 70 pounds but is a little underweight. We expect she’ll be closer to 80 pounds once she’s back to a healthy weight. She arrived at the shelter completely matted and had to be medically shaved, but her gorgeous coat is already starting to grow back—and so is her confidence. Hazel has left her past behind and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her the way she deserves. Think Hazel might be the perfect addition to your family? Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of one of our metro areas (DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio), please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/raven and choose RAVEN from the drop-down menu.

Story
Personality -He’s a low/medium energy doodle who is content with a daily walk (long or short, he’s ready) and then happily enjoying all the naps and cuddles. -He’s a huge fan of kids and the attention they give him. He will gladly soak up all of it. -He’s enjoyable to walk as his leash skills are fabulous. -He’s social and enjoys meeting and greeting new people. -He will make sure you feel celebrated when you return home each time. Just consider him your personal welcome committee. Ideal Home -Shadow’s ideal home will have a calm, submissive canine pal. He loves to run around the back yard with a buddy. -Shadow takes daily medication which controls his seizures. -He does fine when left out loose (as long as countertops are clear of food) when you have to leave for a bit. -He would do best in a home where he has consistent company. He’s all about his people! His family will need to continue working to build his confidence in being home alone. Are You a Match for Shadow Slate? Shadow Slate’s adoption fee is $650. I love unconditionally..... I dance for food and yummy snacks... Because I am 6 years old I am already kennel and house trained...I actually put myself to bed in the kennel when my foster mom stays up too late. I know some commands, but sometimes I am too excited to pay attention to them. I get along with some doggies, yes I am kinda particular. I prefer the ladies. I am staying with Kelly right now while I find my new family. Message her for a ???? of lunch dates with me.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Calliope! If you're looking for a puppy with a big personality, endless love to give, and the ability to make you laugh every single day, then Calliope is your girl! Calliope is a 4-month-old Lab mix with a heart as big as her playful spirit. Her story could have ended very differently. She was found abandoned in downtown Fort Worth, tied to a street sign outside a yoga studio. Thankfully, she was rescued, and today she's healthy, fully vetted, and absolutely thriving in her foster home. Now that she's feeling safe and comfortable, her true puppy personality has come shining through—and it's impossible not to adore her! Calliope is goofy, affectionate, and cute as a button. She absolutely craves attention and wants nothing more than to be wherever her people are. She's a total love bug who happily showers everyone with kisses... even if those kisses occasionally come with an enthusiastic puppy chomp on your nose! Like any growing puppy, Calliope has discovered a few favorite "treasures." Socks? Fair game. Shoes? Even better! If you're wondering where your missing sock disappeared to, there's a good chance Calliope is proudly carrying it around the house. She's learning what belongs to her and what doesn't, so plenty of chew toys, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help her grow out of these typical puppy habits. Calliope loves to play and doesn't know when to quit, so her foster family has learned that scheduled crate naps are a must. Once she's rested, she's ready for another round of fun and cuddles! She is wonderful with the resident dog and enjoys having a canine friend to play with. She also does great with the resident cats, although she sometimes needs a reminder that they don't always want to play as much as she does! She's also a smart little girl! Calliope is highly food motivated, making her eager to learn and easy to train. With a pocket full of treats and a little consistency, she'll quickly master new commands and continue growing into an amazing companion. Calliope is looking for a family that understands puppies are equal parts adorable, mischievous, and lovable. If you're ready for laughter, puppy kisses, a few missing socks, and a lifetime of unconditional love, Calliope is ready to fill your home with joy. Could this sweet, silly girl be the newest member of your family?
