She does ok with other dogs, though sometimes she gets a little overbearing when playing with them, and causes her to become "alpha", so we are hoping to find her a home where she can be the only dog, getting all the love! Katie loves the water, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, great with children, and her temperament with people is very loving. She is house broken, crate trained and well mannered. Delilah is a 4-year-old Lab mix who has been part of our family since she was a puppy. She weighs about 70 lbs., is spayed, obedience trained, and kennel trained, though she also does very well when left out in the home.Delilah is incredibly smart and loving with a gentle and sweet personality. She can be a bit shy and nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up and becomes a very loyal companion. She’s also very alert and will bark when someone is at the door or if she hears unfamiliar sounds, making her a great watchdog.She currently lives with two male dogs and grew up playing and interacting with them, but over time has started to show occasional aggression toward them. Because of this, we feel she would do best in a home where she can be the only dog. She would do best in a family with older kids.This is not an easy decision for us—we love Delilah very much and want to make sure we find her a safe, patient, and loving home where she can thrive.
