Story
Sadie is a sweet 8-year-old girl who will be turning 9 in November. I received her as a gift 8 years ago. She is really gentle especially with kids, and absolutely loves being petted; you can give her some rubs and she'll completely melt! This decision is difficult, but due to moving and my busy schedule, I can no longer provide Sadie with my love and time. She needs a home where she will be loved, cared for, and have someone who can and is willing to spend the time with her every day. She doesn’t do well with other dogs, and she will pull you on the leash with or without seeing other dogs, but she loves children and playing with them. I hope to find the right home for her!

Story
Meet Honey  Honey is a sweet Labradoodle mix puppy with an adventurous spirit, a curious mind, and a personality just as adorable as her name. She and her siblings are half Labradoodle and one quarter Catahoula, giving them the perfect mix of intelligence, personality, and puppy charm. Honey and her siblings came to us when they were just one week old after their mom was tragically hit by a car and passed away. These tiny babies needed around-the-clock care and were bottle fed until they were strong enough to take on the world themselves. Now Honey has grown into a confident, playful little pup who is ready to find a family of her own. Honey is one of the adventurous ones in her litter. She is energetic, brave, and always ready to explore the world around her. Whether she’s playing, climbing, or following an interesting scent, Honey loves using her brain and staying busy. This smart girl is curious about everything and loves figuring things out. Her intelligence, confidence, and fun-loving personality will make her such an exciting companion for a family ready to watch her learn and grow. Why you’ll love Honey:• Energetic and playful• Brave and adventurous• Very smart and curious• Loves exploring and climbing• Scent driven and loves using her nose• Confident little personality• Full of fun and puppy charm After losing her mom so young, Honey has been surrounded by love and care and has grown into such a happy, wonderful puppy. Now she’s ready for the next chapter — a forever family who will love her, teach her, and join her on all of life’s adventures. Apply to adopt Honey here:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/70992/generic Honey is located in Texas but can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate safe transport and offer video meet-and-greets to ensure it’s the perfect fit. She is currently getting vetted but will be available to go home when all vetting is complete in August. ##2742202##

Story
We got Ruston from a breeder 10 years ago. He was around another dog until early 2025 but she passed. He loves people and other dogs. He’s always been fine with our 3 kids and lets them know gently when he’s annoyed. One of our sons has really bad allergies and we’ve tried every option to try and make having a dog work but his dog allergies have gotten worse. We are making the hard choice to look for a loving family that doesn’t have any dog allergies for Ruston to have a good later part of life with. He loves walks and also just being lazy on his cozy dog bed. He spends days alone fine and doesn’t need a crate.

Story
Meet Hazel Doodle! Hazel has settled into foster life beautifully and is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. We believe she’s a Goldendoodle, and her sweet, affectionate personality makes it easy to fall in love. At just 2 years old, Hazel is housebroken, knows basic commands like sit and shake, and has been wonderful with the children in her foster home. She’s also done great with the dogs she’s met, but prefers medium and large dogs and is skittish with small dogs. One of Hazel’s favorite things? Giving real hugs! If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close to her people, she’s your girl. Hazel currently weighs about 70 pounds but is a little underweight. We expect she’ll be closer to 80 pounds once she’s back to a healthy weight. She arrived at the shelter completely matted and had to be medically shaved, but her gorgeous coat is already starting to grow back—and so is her confidence. Hazel has left her past behind and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her the way she deserves. Think Hazel might be the perfect addition to your family? He's smart, eager to please, and has settled into home life beautifully, quickly mastering the doggie door. Kevin's ideal home is one where someone is home most of the day or can include him in their daily routine. He loves being with his people and is happiest when he's part of the action. Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of one of our metro areas (DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio), please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/raven and choose RAVEN from the drop-down menu.

Meet Cameron a sweet 3-year-old Lab mix weighing in at 63 lbs with a heart as big as her smile! Cameron is affectionate, gentle, and incredibly loyal. She knows how to sit, is treat motivated, and thrives on human attention. While she might get a little excited and jump up to say hello, it’s only because she’s thrilled to be near you. She gets along well with dogs and kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. This curious and well-behaved girl would love a home where she can be your sidekick and soak up all the love. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who will always be happy to see you, Cameron is the one for you!

Story
Hi, I’m Kooper, a 1 year-old Lab mix with a happy heart and a tail that never stops wagging. I get along great with other dogs and kids, but I’d do best in a home without cats. I’m affectionate, curious, gentle, and I love soaking up attention from my people. Toys are fun, but treats? Even better. I’m very treat motivated, which makes learning new things a breeze. I walk nicely beside you on a leash and enjoy being part of whatever you’re doing. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just hanging out together, I’m all in. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal girl to add to your family, I just might be your perfect match.

Story
Hi there! I’m Jackson, a 1 year old Lab mix weighing in at 36 pounds of pure sweetness. I’m a confident, gentle boy who loves to play with toys and spend time with my favorite people. I get along great with other dogs and kids, and I’m currently learning how to sit like a good boy, especially when there are treats involved (I’m very treat motivated!). I’m curious about everything, walk nicely on a leash, and love getting attention. I can’t wait to find a family who will keep helping me learn and grow and of course, throw a toy or two my way!
