Story
We got Ruston from a breeder 10 years ago. He was around another dog until early 2025 but she passed. He loves people and other dogs. He’s always been fine with our 3 kids and lets them know gently when he’s annoyed. One of our sons has really bad allergies and we’ve tried every option to try and make having a dog work but his dog allergies have gotten worse. We are making the hard choice to look for a loving family that doesn’t have any dog allergies for Ruston to have a good later part of life with. He loves walks and also just being lazy on his cozy dog bed. He spends days alone fine and doesn’t need a crate.

Story
Sadie is a sweet 8-year-old girl who will be turning 9 in November. I received her as a gift 8 years ago. She is really gentle especially with kids, and absolutely loves being petted; you can give her some rubs and she'll completely melt! This decision is difficult, but due to moving and my busy schedule, I can no longer provide Sadie with my love and time. She needs a home where she will be loved, cared for, and have someone who can and is willing to spend the time with her every day. She doesn’t do well with other dogs, and she will pull you on the leash with or without seeing other dogs, but she loves children and playing with them. I hope to find the right home for her!

Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. Story
Personality -He’s a low/medium energy doodle who is content with a daily walk (long or short, he’s ready) and then happily enjoying all the naps and cuddles. -He’s a huge fan of kids and the attention they give him. He will gladly soak up all of it. -He’s enjoyable to walk as his leash skills are fabulous. -He’s social and enjoys meeting and greeting new people. -He will make sure you feel celebrated when you return home each time. Just consider him your personal welcome committee. Ideal Home -Shadow’s ideal home will have a calm, submissive canine pal. He loves to run around the back yard with a buddy. -Shadow takes daily medication which controls his seizures. -He does fine when left out loose (as long as countertops are clear of food) when you have to leave for a bit. -He would do best in a home where he has consistent company. He’s all about his people! His family will need to continue working to build his confidence in being home alone. Are You a Match for Shadow Slate? Shadow Slate’s adoption fee is $650. Story
Due to a recent divorce and a move to housing that cannot accommodate them, I am no longer able to provide the home they deserve. I am committed to helping financially by providing their supplies and records, transporting them wherever needed, and doing whatever I can to ensure they remain together.Finding the right home for Maggie and Motley is my highest priority. I am willing to personally transport them to their new home anywhere within a reasonable distance to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. My goal is not simply to rehome them—it is to find a family who will love and care for them as they deserve. After ten years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love, they deserve nothing less.I understand that adopting two senior dogs is a significant commitment, and I am happy to answer questions, provide veterinary records, discuss their routines and preferences, and help make the transition as easy as possible for both the dogs and their new family.

Story
Sweet girl Fiona has been in my care for 9 years now. I found her wondering the road out in Arkansas and never found her original home. She’s extremely sweet and I just couldn’t leave her in a shelter. Since then, her love has been explosive! She once lived in a home with dogs and cats but it’s been several years since then and with her age, I’m not sure how she’ll be now. She loves cuddles and listen extremely well so much, I would walk around with no lease! My son and I love her sooooo much. Unfortunately life took a turn. I lost my home post divorce and moved in with family. Her life went from lavish to stagnant. She developed a benign lump right under her tail. For which removal was out of my price range. Luckily she shows no signs of pain or destress from it. She still has amazing energy and does not act her age!!!! Fiona is suspected to have an allergy towards grains as her fur thins and is not as lavish. We just want her happy.

Story
I adopted Robin in 2023 from The Colony Animal Shelter. She is a high-energy, anxious, loving dog! She is ALL kisses and loves playing rough with her siblings. She is my sweet girl; however, she deserves more than I can give her at the moment due to school and work. If you love walks and outside time, she is your girl!

Story
Marshall is about 5 years old and has been with us since we rescued him from a shelter 4.5 years ago. He’s about 95 lbs, possibly a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. He loves cuddles, attention, lounging outside, and walks, and he does great on a leash. He lives with our other Lab and two young kids, gets along well with our dog, and mostly ignores the children. Marshall is a wonderful dog, but he’s high maintenance. He’s anxious about many things (water, the vet, hot air balloons, and sometimes even familiar things like his crate), has allergies that can lead to yeast infections, has had a few seizures over the past 3 years, and sheds a lot. We believe Marshall would thrive with a family that has a little land, older kids to play with, and the time to provide the attention and routine medical care he needs. We love him deeply, and this has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we know he deserves a home that better fits his needs.
