Story
Simon is the “S” in our R-S-T-L-N-E & A Wheel of Fortune litter. They were born on April 29, just one day after their mom, Vanna, was rescued—talk about perfect timing!
His mama is a Great Pyrenees mix, and Dad is still MIA—but based on some of his siblings' unmistakable markings, we’re spinning the wheel and guessing there may be some Rottweiler in his family tree!
Simon is a total sweetheart and is down to go on all sorts of adventures. He's already been on many outings in his puppy stroller to popular dog-friendly stores like Lowe's. Now that he is up to date on his vaccinations, he can't wait to go on many more!
He also LOVES a refreshing splash in the pool. We have ourselves a water dog!
He has been raised in a loving foster home since he was born, where he has been learning house training, crate training, leash walking, and all the important skills needed to become a wonderful family companion. Simon is dog, cat, and kid friendly and love being part of the action.
His ideal home would have someone home more often than not to continue their training and socialization. A fenced yard is a bonus, but he could also do well in an apartment with adequate daily exercise and enrichment.
He would love a canine companion to play with but would also thrive with an active family committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult.

ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!

Puppies (12 months and under) - $325
Dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.
Must be home more than not.
Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.
Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address.
Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household.
Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting.
Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet.
Must have a secure fence if in a house.
All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.
DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas.
