Obi is a wonderful dog that we love tremendously. He is sweet with our entire family and has historically been friendly with guests. We are seeking this option post a dog bite incident. We are highly regretful of the scenario and unclear on what triggered the incident. We believe he would be ideal in a household with another dog and ability for high levels of activity. Riley is 9 years old with puppy energy. She loves to play outside and force affection on everyone. She wants to go everywhere with you and is good on leash. With a toddler in the house now her size has been a bit intimidating although she's been super gentle. She used to be free roaming and having to keep her in the kennel more has her a bit down in the dumps.

Bishop is an amazing one and a half yr old Labradoodle. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He does need some work on the leash, but we are working on that!  ***DFW area only-No Exceptions*** Cordelia is a 11 week old (as of 10/10/26) possibly lab mix puppy. She was found with her mom and siblings in a parking lot after their mother had sadly passed from this world. Legacy Humane took on several of the puppies and they are a part of the "Vampire Slayer Litter". The puppies were bottle fed as they joined our rescue at about 10 days old. Now they are on solid food and are ready to move on to their own happy endings! Cordelia  loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is a happy little girl. She is observant an likes to follow her foster mom around. She enjoys the older dogs in her foster home and generally takes their corrections well! She loves a good squeaky or crinkle toy! Play time often involves fetching or tug of war. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be.  Cordelia  is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, she does amazingly well for her young age. She would probably not be a good fit in a home with cats.  Current weight 17 lbs as of 10/6/26 Projected weight 70-80 lbs Crate trained   This puppy has not had two sets of shots at this time. Adopters must have a private place for potty training to reduce the chances for life threatening illnesses until the second set of shots are given. No dog parks or shared potty spaces with unknown dogs.   We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative.  If you're interested in meeting or adopting her, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered in November of 2026 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.  *Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies as well as vetting needs, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.  We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Age: 4 yrs Weight: 83 lbs   Let’s go Eevee! This fun, energetic girl will Pokémon-go with you on any adventure. Eevee is a rambunctious bundle of energy that would fit in great with a family that gets outdoors or has space for her to run around at home.   She is a bit of an attention hog, so she will do best in a single-dog home, but she has lived with both a cat and a dog and may be able to settle in with the right animal friends with enough time and training.    Eevee needs animal companions that are respectful of her space when food is out, or to be fed separately. Eevee plays hard, so similar sized dog friends may be best. Eevee has lived with a toddler for two years, but may be better with older children after a slow introduction given her size and play style.   Eevee cries in the car, but is calmed with some medication that will be provided to the adopter. She is smart and very trainable. Earlier in her puppyhood, Eevee did a 3 week board and train and has some basic obedience training that, while rusty, could easily be honed further. She’s showed aptitude for agility-style courses, and can be convinced to do most anything with the right treats.  She is house and crate-trained, and spayed, microchipped, is current on vaccines and heartworm negative.
