Hello, this is Stella! Stella is such a lovable dog, we have to rehome her because we just found out we are expecting and don’t have space to be able to keep her, we live in an apartment. She currently turned one and has her shots all up to date. She loves going to the dog park and listens well around other dogs. We would love for her to find a home where she can run and is going to feel loved! She loves everyone so it wont be hard to fall in love with her❤️

Story
Oh, sweet Moses! This handsome dood is ready for his fur-ever home. Moses is smart, playful, and fun. He enjoys learning new skills and responds well to positive reinforcement and treats. He loves adventures with his hoomans. He enjoys a good backyard romp and a hearty session of fetch. If it’s round and rolls, Moses is a fan! He enjoys companions who can match energy and are close to his size (40-lbs or larger). He enjoys a rough-and-tumble style of play. He is a medium-energy dude with bursts of extra enthusiasm. He loves meeting new people. Who can resist that fuzzy face? Moses’s eyes speak to the wisdom gained through life experience. Moses has had a few hard knocks and has spent some time with our training partner learning how to trust humans after they’ve let him down. He will need extended time to decompress and to establish trust with his family. Once he trusts you, he’s a terrific, loyal companion. He’s no puppy to be trifled with; he is looking for a partnership with his family. He needs rescue-savvy, experienced owners who are willing to continue working with his trainer to ensure he successfully transitions to his home. For this reason, potential adopters must live in the DFW area and be willing to work with his trainer through his transition and decompression. Moses’s adoption fee is $400. He is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Moses a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are local to the DFW area, please click here: https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/copy-of-adoptable-doodle-dog-1 and fill out an application.

Story
Meadow is a gorgeous LARGE doodle!! She is approximately 2 years old, fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Meadow is fearful of SOME men, so she needs someone with patience, as we believe she was abused, in her previous home. She absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs, crate trained, knows basic commands, though still has high puppy energy, at times. Meadow can act timid/shy when meeting new people, though once she knows you, she will be your best friend! She's a strong girl, who needs some work on a leash. We prefer Meadow to go to a home with older children, due to her size (100 lbs), and the possibility of her getting excited and jumping on a small child. If interested in Meadow, please feel free to fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Annie is a precious doodle girl! She is approximately 8 years old and weighs 55 pounds. Annie went through heartworm treatment at the end of last year, and has now received the "all clear from the vet. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She does great with other dogs, and basically matches the other dogs energy, though she is not a fan of smaller dogs jumping up in and on her face. Annie has had no exposure to cats, since joining our rescue, so we are not sure how she would do with one. Annie loves to go for walks, though she is strong on a leash, and will pull, if she sees a squirrel, rabbit, etc. She is house broken and does not get crated, so we are hoping to find a forever home for her, where she will be allowed the same freedom. Annie is sweet and loving, calm and well behaved in the home, good with children! If interested in adopting Annie, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
How can anyone say no to this face? I’m as sweet as sugar. My name is Honey Bun, I’m a 5-6 month old lab mix looking for a great forever family. I am high energy and would love an active family that will take me on walks or jogs. I’m crate trained; house broken; love playing with toys and balls. Still working on my leash training. More than anything I love being close to my hoomans. Once a scared puppy shaking in my crate at Lamar County Animal Shelter to today a loving happy puppy. Please check me out at Habitat 4 Paws.org. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Story
My son rescued 3 puppies at Cedar Creek Lake that had been abandoned. The neighbors in the area were all caring for them but my son wanted to bring them to Frisco to find homes for them. I adopted Luckee. He was three months old at the time. He is a very smart, sweet dog but my husband and I are older(retired) and he has grown to be a large, strong dog .. too big for us to handle. We also have small grandchildren that come over and are afraid he might jump on them not meaning to hurt them. It breaks my heart to realize that he is just too big a dog for us and that he needs a younger person to adopt him. He is now a little over a year old. He has never had an accident in the house and is crate trained. As I said earlier, he is very smart. At night, he will lay down on the floor by our bed. We have an older (10 year old) Pekingese that does put him in his place if he gets too playful. He needs someone who can train him and is able to walk him etc. We are in our 70’s and aren’t able to.
