Story
We simply do not have words, to describe how incredibly sweet Lexi is!! She was sadly used as a breeder dog, and "dumped" with an injured leg, prior to joining our rescue. Lexi recently had the injured leg amputated, but has acclimated to being a "tripod" very well. Her stitches have been removed, and she has received the "all clear" from our vet. Lexi is incredibly well mannered, never makes a peep, great with children, does well with all dogs and cats, and house broken. She would love to have a forever family who is home a lot of the time, loving on her, and giving her lots of snuggles and attention. She would also love to have a sweet doggy friend in the home, for companionship. Lexi is approximately five to six years old and weighs 51 pounds. If interested in adopting Lexi. please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Wrigley is an absolute adorable doodle, who is fully vetted and microchipped. He currently weighs 62 pounds, so we do feel he will gain additional weight, in the next few months, until he is considered an "adult". Wrigley is very sweet and loving, playful, though can also snuggle on the couch, and be just as content. If you are looking for a playmate for your current dog, Wrigley is your guy!!! He absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs, and has become BEST friends with the foster family's dogs. He most definitely requires another dog in the home, for companionship. Wrigley walks well on a leash, looks forward to his daily car rides, and has a perfect energy level to keep the kiddos entertained! He is currently in foster care with two kitties, and though he does not hurt them, he and the foster's dog do love to chase them around the house, just for fun. *Wrigley does have a coat that sheds, so brushing and keeping his coat maintained will be needed.. We can't say enough great things about this boy....he's great!! If interested in sweet Wrigley, please feel free to fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Macie is a happy pup with a big smile and kind heart. She has grown up with her family and has helped them welcome 3 babies in the world! She's been wonderful with all three kids (now ages 2.5 through 4.5). Macie isn't one for fetch, but she does love to play tug of war and go on moderate walks. Macie also likes being near her humans most of the time, and can usually be found on the floor around them. She also has a fur sister that she's lived with for 7 years. Unfortunately, her fur sister has some health problems and has grown intolerant of having Macie around. Therefore, Macie is seeking a new home where she can be loved for years to come. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Macie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
These two are a bonded pair and must stay together. Max is 5 and Champ is 7. Champ was hit by a car and had a leg surgery that left him with a limp but that doesn't slow him down one bit. They were raised around kids.  When surrendered they had been kept as outside dogs their entire lives, but kept escaping. They have been inside dogs since October, and you'd never know any different. They get along and play very well with other dogs. They deserve to be the center of attention and will do best with a family who will work with them and train them. They know basic commands like sit and they come when called. Max and Champ are the happiest, loving boys who have never met a stranger. They deserve a family who will smother them with all the love they can handle, but who will also train them and break them of their attempts to escape. Both Max and Champ are participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm
