Story
Our 6 year old labradoodle/cocker spaniel mix was recently attacked by a neighbor’s dog and is no longer safe in his current environment. Henry can be high energy and enjoys walks and time playing outside. He is good at dog puzzles. He also loves to cuddle up- he's the best of both worlds! Henry would thrive in a home with either no kids or older kids (we have two little ones that he tolerates, but he really does prefer to have more attention and cuddles!). His ideal home would have a fenced in yard where he can roam and play and his owner(s) willing to take at least once daily walks and provide frequent snuggles. He can be quite talkative, especially if strangers pass by the house or knock on the door. He can be slow to warm up with new people (just prefers to keep his distance), but give him a treat and patience and he'll be pawing you for more pets very soon! Henry is very smart and has done well at every training we have attended. He is cuddly and smart and the perfect family pet!
