Story
Meet Gary Numan- an incredibly lucky guy!He was hit by a car and fortunately sustained a mere cheek fracture- but now he's rehearsing for his big debut...and tour to his new home!Gary is a sweet, shy guy who is still a bit scared of the world- but even in his fear and pain, he never showed this to anyone. He was stoic and withdrawn, hiding in his kennel and when he was taken (read: carried initially) outside, tried to hide...but he's gotten a bit braver and is now getting out into the world- just look at his growing confidence. He's just about ready for his final act: a forever home!We are seeking a foster to adopt home- someone who is pretty sure they would like to adopt him and want to test drive the situation while he heals and a compatible match is assessed. We believe this guy will thrive in a variety of situations as he has been nothing but sweet- but his new family needs to understand he is going to blossom slowly, but surely...and be patient to make that happen.Gary is a pretty small (48lbs) pure bred black lab, who is about 1yr old. He is housebroken and crate trained and very food motivated- so it doesn't take much to coax him out if he's unsure! This guy seemed like an amazing, uncut gem that just needs some love, structure and effort to help him define who he is going to be...he's a total diamond in the rough!
