Story
Fenris is 3 years old. He comes from a local breeder, Red Letter Doodle. He was purchased from Red Letter by someone who had a health emergency, so I adopted Fenris as 6 months old. Ever since then, we have lived in Seattle, WA together. Fenris requires a lot of attention and a lot of play. He is a very athletic dog, and I am looking for a home on a farm (or one that has a large yard) for him to roam around free and get the life he deserves. When I adopted him, I had a husband, more time for Fenris, more space and more resources. After my separation, I have been taking care of Fenris as a single dog dad for a year and a half now, and I just do not have the time to give him what he needs. He loves fetch, tug of war and many many cuddles. I hope to find that special home for him soon!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Lola - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am with another rescue that is having a family emergency. If interested in adopting me, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me into their rescue to complete my adoption. My name is Lola and if you're in search of a gorgeous active gal that is as beautiful inside as out, look no further! I am around a year old and very sweet, active and playful. I do fantastic with everyone... other dogs, people and even those weird smelling creatures y'all call a cat. I would make a great addition for just about any family that is looking for a sweetie to add joy to their life. I will need to have a home with no kids or kids that are older. I'm a sweetie but get very excited when playing or when you come home. I can get a little mouthy, which comes from my young age. We are working on my manners but will need strict parents to keep up my work in progress. I am already house trained so that will leave lots of time for us to get right to the fun stuff. I do love going for my walks whether it's around the neighborhood or going on a sniffari on nature trails. I AM NOT a couch potato and will need an active family that will provide me lots of daily exercise, playtime and adventures. I come in at around 45lb of pure love, 45lbs of happy to see you, 45lbs of tail wags and those melt your heart puppy dog eyes, 45lbs of I'm ready for whatever you're up to doing!! Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys, sorrows and your adventures? WAIT, stop scrolling, I am that gal!!!

Story
Meet Biscuit! She is a loving 8 month old Labradoodle. She is fun loving and full of energy. Unfortunately our situation has changed and we have not had the time that we initially did for a dog. She can sit and lay down (down). She is house trained to use pee-pads and will go outside as well. Biscuit is sweet, so smart, and loves to be with people. I am hoping that I can find a new home for her that has the time needed to give to her because she deserves it. The rehoming fee is a fraction of what I paid initially for her. I am just looking to help with some of that cost. She will come with dog food, LOTS of dog treats, her toys, harness, leash, and brush

Story
Ryan Reynolds is a super fun guy, which is obvious right away. He is also slightly developmentally delayed which is a little less obvious, but it something important to know about him. We would love to see Ryan find an adoptive home, but as it's been three years so far already, we know he may stay with us indefinitely. So even if you cannot adopt him, you can still help sponsor his care! MORE ABOUT RYAN: Ryan is a creature of habit; he LOVES his schedule, so the more consistent the better for him. Never a boring day for him! He is loving and affectionate in his own way, but he can be sensitive to touch so it's important to understand his way of communicating. He is learning to give a paw for attention and does love to be petted. Ryan knows his name and basic commands such as sit and come. He should wear a sign that says "Will Work For Food" because he is super motivated an even eats his veggies! His favorite thing (besides zoomies) is to push around his wobbler feeder and find the treasures inside. Ryan does have a few quirky things such as he has poor depth perception so can run into things while trying to turn around or jump out of the car and kind of miss his spot. He's even a bit off when trying to give kisses, so expect a nose lick and an ear even if he's trying to aim for your face. It's honestly terribly endearing, you just need to know it's coming. He also loves to walk...but may not always in a straight line! Ryan is a wonderful dog with some minor challenges, but he's very curious and happy. He has brought so much joy to our world- but it's time he shares his light with the world! Ask us about meeting this goofy guy! ADOPTION DONATION: $600 All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. Story
Meet Amy Santiago! Found on the dusty streets of Texas, a special dog named Amy Santiago found herself in need of a new beginning. Much like her namesake from the beloved series "Brooklyn 99," our Amy embodies a blend of sweetness, dedication, and a touch of shyness that makes her truly one-of-a-kind. To know Amy is to understand the depth of her love and affection. She may not wear her heart on her sleeve, but give her a short time, and she'll show you a love that is deep and enduring. Amy's affection is like a slowly blooming flower; it requires patience and gentle care, but the reward is a bond that is truly unbreakable. She thrives in the company of those who understand her need for time and space, blossoming into a companion whose loyalty and love know no bounds. While Amy might find the human world a tad overwhelming at times, her heart beats in tune with the canine kind. She is a testament to the idea that dogs, too, can find soulmates in one another. Her eyes light up at the sight of fellow four-legged friends, and her tail wags in a rhythm that speaks of pure joy. The yard becomes her domain, a playground where she engages in the timeless dance of play and camaraderie with other dogs, showing us all the beauty of friendship and mutual respect. Amy's story is not just about her past but about the future she dreams ofone filled with love, understanding, and the kind of patience that allows trust to flourish. She may not be the first to pull you towards the hiking trails or eagerly lead the way through bustling city streets, but with time and the right family, Amy can learn to see the world as a place of adventure, not anxiety. Her ideal family would be one that understands the value of quiet moments and the power of gentle encouragement. Amy's journey towards becoming a confident companion is one that requires a shared commitment to slow, steady socialization and the recognition that every small step is a victory. For the family lucky enough to welcome Amy into their hearts and home, the promise is one of unconditional love. Amy Santiago may start as a shy, reserved soul, but with patience, she will reveal the depth of her affection and the strength of her spirit. Her story is a reminder that sometimes, the most profound connections come from the gentlest of souls, and that with understanding and patience, even the quietest among us can find our place in the world. TEMPERAMENT: Shy, but sweet and playful with other dogs HOUSE TRAINING: Great! CRATE TRAINING: She does well in her crate. OBEDIENCE TRAINING: Great! She knows sit, down, wait, place and walks very well on a leash. OTHER DOGS: Good! She would like another dog in the home. Easygoing/ noncompetitive males would make a great match! CATS: Not tested. CHILDREN: Best in a home with older children (teens/ adults). ADOPTION DONATION: $550.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! Story
Welcome to Motley Zoo, Anna Kournikova! Anna was found abandoned and terrified on the side of the road all alone as a young puppy. Thankfully, our friends at Kitsap Humane were able to rehabilitate her and help her become a sweet and loving not so little girl. Anna has a mild deformity in her hind legs that will likely require physical therapy. We are evaluating what that is going to look like short and long term. She is fully mobile and plays enthusiastically! We are still getting to know Anna as she adjusts to being in a home. She is thriving in her foster home and is a great companion! She is so playful and gentle, really a nice little friend. Anna is spayed and chipped. She is receiving age appropriate vaccines and flea preventatives. Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
