I do great with people but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I would probably do best in a home with only older chiIdren as I am pretty active and don't realize my size yet. I do great playing with the other pups here at my foster home but again would probably do best with bigger doggie siblings. I am a total love bug that loves being being with my people. At 25lbs already, I will be a bigger boy when I get myself all the way growed up but will so be ready to tag-a-long on ALL your adventures form the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Lolly! She is a 2-year-old, 45 LB Labradoodle who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Lolly is a total goofball who loves to be with her people and go exploring. She can be a little shy when first meeting, but opens up to be spunky, playful, and very silly. She knows a few commands such as sit and down, and loves to shake your hand! Lolly will need work on her leash skills as well as she can be quite bouncy so we recommend no children under 8 years old. She has done well with other dogs and would not mind having another dog in the home as a playmate. She could also do fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization. Lolly is a total blast and is going to make a wonderful addition to any home that adopts her! She is a dog that will require regular grooming. Lolly is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has not been tested with cats or children. Her adoption fee is $500.

Meet Marco - a 5 month old zany, sweetheart black lab mix. Possibly labradoodle, as he is extremely low shedding. Sadly Marco was found on the side of a road at 3 months old. He is over the top friendly with all humans and even does well with tolerant cats. He is able to totally relax in public settings and has no reactivity to humans, children, other dogs, vehicles, etc. Marco needs a home that is 100% dedicated to commit a great deal of time and money to training him. Animal Profile: Tisane is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs roughly 10lbs. She was found as a stray along with another poodle (Vata) and they were brought into RASKC by a good samaritan. Tisane struggled in the shelter environment and after an unsuccessful adoption, she was transferred over to our care. Foster Update: After a few days of getting settled in and acclimated, Tisane has shown us that she is a total sweetheart but still very nervous and uncomfortable around loud noises or sudden movements. She seems pretty indifferent so far to my dogs; she occasionally shows interest/sniffing but doesn't engage much. At this time, she is pretty anxious when alone and we are working on building up her confidence and working through some separation anxiety. She did well with her bath and is getting a much needed grooming! We've noticed that Tisane is quicker to trust women but is able to bond with men, just a little slower. This was the case with her previous failed adoption (she bonded to the female in the home but was fearful around the male person). We've been working with her trust around men and my husband is able to take her outside and she will accept a treat from his hand. At this time, we are looking for an adult-only, quieter home that can offer the patience to help Tisane settle in and a commitment to helping her continue to grow her confidence. Animal Profile: Boone is a 5.5 month old, male Lab/Cattle dog X (guessing), puppy who will be joining us along with his siblings from Texas on 03/14/25. Puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. He is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, cats and kids, awaiting his freedom ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Boone is a very sweet puppy who loves to play with his toys, nap with his human, and is a quick learner. He is friendly with people and dogs, but cautious when meeting them for the first time. He's food motivated and is picking up basic training easily. He loves to be held and cuddled and is very gentle when taking treats. He sleeps through the night in his crate with the standard puppy potty breaks. Boone is currently being fostered by one of our trainers and is learning to walk on leash, be quiet in the crate when left alone, and is building confidence while acclimating to noisy city life. He's an absolute sweetheart you can't help but fall in love with! Boone will need a family with breed experience who will be dedicated to his continued training, a securely fenced yard, and will do best with a canine companion to help show him the ropes. We are not condidering apartments for him at this time.
