WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💦🐾 Meet Tex — Splash Specialist & Full-Time Fun Coordinator! 🐾💦 4 Months Old • Male • Lab/ Blue Lacy Mix • Future 70ish lbs of Awesome Tex and his littermates were found dumped at a hunting cabin in rural Texas — no running water, no comforts, no explanation. And yet somehow? This boy decided that life is AMAZING and he plans to live every second of it at full volume. At 4 months old, Tex is the definition of happy chaos wrapped in a shiny puppy coat. He’s outgoing, social, wildly people-oriented, and firmly believes that strangers are simply friends he hasn’t tackled with kisses yet. Being a Lab/ Blue Lacy mix, he’s got the brains, the athleticism, and the “let’s go do something!” attitude. He’ll likely grow into a fabulous 70ish-pound adventure buddy — perfect for hiking, swimming, camping, road-tripping, and dramatically flopping across your couch when he’s done conquering the world. Things Tex is Passionate About: • Water. If it splashes, he’s in it. • Other dogs — instant wrestling partners. • People — especially the ones with treats. • Running full speed toward absolutely nothing. • Sticks. Large ones. The larger the better. • Being involved in literally everything. Standard Tex Puppy Features Include: • Zoomies that cover impressive square footage • Oversized paws he hasn’t quite figured out yet • The “Did you see that?!” excited bounce • Selective hearing when fun is detected • The most innocent face when caught mid-shenanigan Through it all, Tex has remained happy, confident, and eager to take on whatever comes next. He’s resilient, joyful, and soaking up the world like the bright, bouncy sponge he is. He would thrive in an active home that loves outdoor fun and doesn’t mind a little dirt, a little splash, and a whole lot of personality. He’s at the perfect age to learn all the good-dog things — manners, routines, adventures — and he’s smart enough to catch on quickly. Tex’s dream home: • Enjoys activity and laughter • Is ready for a bigger growing pup • Appreciates a dog with enthusiasm for life • Doesn’t mind occasionally sharing personal space • Wants a loyal, goofy, water-loving sidekick Tex isn’t just going to be a big dog — he’s going to be a big-hearted one. The kind who greets you like you’ve been gone for years, who lives for weekend adventures, and who collapses at your feet at the end of a full day. If your life could use more laughter, more splashes, and about 70 pounds of joyful loyalty, Tex is ready to jump in paws first. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Tex bring the fun, the mud, and the big puppy magic home 🐾💙

Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 5 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He was recently introduced to odor detection work and his trainer said he was a natural. He catches on to new commands quickly and would love someone to work with. Ramen would do best in an adult only household. He sometimes takes time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Ramen needs an experienced owner who comfortable addressing his guarding behaviors, willing to continue exercising his body and his mind, and able to commit to regular grooming. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. December 9, 2025, 2:28 pm

Labrador Retriever Husky

Story
Animal Profile: Wiley is a 1-year-old male Lab/Husky  X (guessing) who joined us along with his siblings from Texas. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. Wiley is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, and older kids. Foster Update:   Wiley is a smart, fluffy goofball who is both crate trained and house trained. He knows all his basic commands, has an energetic and playful style, and walks nicely on leash. He spent several weeks in the care of a professional trainer, is e-collar trained, and continues to build confidence every day. Wiley has been enjoying the great outdoors of the PNW and has even started going to work with his foster, where he’s meeting lots of new people. He takes some time to warm up but forms strong bonds once he trusts you. Wiley would do best as the only dog in an active home with someone who has breed experience and a securely fenced yard. He is not a good fit for toddlers, though older children with dog experience should be fine. He’s also a bit of a talker, so an apartment setting wouldn’t be ideal. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from  Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Byrdie Express to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.January 25, 2026, 11:35 pm
