Story
Toast is a great dog in the middle of her teenage years (7mo old) who needs a family with more time for her. She is stubborn, extremely loyal, and a good protector. She would be good in a home with experience with dogs. She is great with kids, will chase cats, and is learning to be friendly to other dogs. We have done extensive training and she has gone from being afraid of the dog park to able to go in and cautiously make friends with calm dogs. My main issue with her is she eats poop and I find it disgusting: prepare for this with her. She also barks at everything—again, with extensive training this has gone way down but is still a problem at naptime. She has trouble being alone without her main person—we take her everywhere and leave her in the car. I’m a stay at home parent and with her pretty much 24/7. She really needs someone who can take the time to train, is as stubborn as she is, and has a fenced yard—she loves to run, does not love the dog park
