Story
Porter is looking for a new home ! Hey everybody, my name is Porter. I am a 48-pound, 7-year-old Labradoodle with a lot of energy and plenty of love to give! I am in search of a home with active owners who can take me on fun walks and hikes, and I love to play fetch in the backyard. I am crate trained, have lived with two other dogs for the past 3 years, and thrive with consistent exercise and plenty of cuddles on the couch as well. My favorite treats are peanut butter and bananas, and I follow my people around like a shadow.

Story
Maya came to us pregnant 4 weeks ago had one puppy ! Maya is 9 years old and has been used as a breeder. That ends now ! She gets a dental and spayed soon and then she will be up for adoption ! Stayed tuned ☺️ BIG THANKS TO LYNN FOR FOSTERING HER AND HELPING WITH THE BIRTH OF HER SINGLE PUP! ALSO THANK YOU BETH PARKER ~TENDER TOUCH GROOMING FOR HER SPA DAY 🥰 Forever home needed Hi, my name is Maya and I'm 9 years old. I just got spayed, had my teeth cleaned, and got a microchip. My foster mom helped me have my puppy and comforted me during labor and birth. My personality allowed her to crawl into the whelping box and we only knew each other for 12 hours. She says I'm very smart and goofy! I'm a puppy attitude in a 82# body. When I'm excited, I like to grab a "stuffie" and show them to you. I've NOT made one mistake in the house! I've been here 3 months, so I'm pretty proud of how housebroken I am. I'm very good at sitting when told, and stand quietly when getting my leash on. I definitely need a reminder about leash walking. I'm pretty strong and get "hearing selective" when something catches my attention. A fenced yard would be best. I like to try and scare other dogs, but would like a submissive male to play with. I'm probably a counter surfer and may get into the trash if given the opportunity. I stole a bag of treats off of a shelf. I'm an opportunist. I love lying by the slider door, in the sun and am good in the house. I'll talk to you if I need to go outside. All in all, I'm a very good girl. Please give me an opportunity to prove to you.

These pups are in Vancouver, Washington too!

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Here's what you need to know about me:Hi, I'm Zeke, a gentle older boy who believes the best spot in the house is quietly by my person's feet. Sniffy walks and a good ball chase make my day. And a "good boy" treat is always welcome! I'm always a good boy.I'm a sweet soul hoping for a calm home to share my mountain of love.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable with new people. But once I get to know them, I'm very loving. If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 8 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.If there are any dogs living in my new home, I prefer to meet them before I'm adopted. Energetic young dogs aren't my speed, but I might be fine with a fellow distinguished canine friend in my home. I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Primary Color: Black Weight: 63 Age: 7yrs 0mths 2wks

Here's what you need to know about me:I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time. I may show certain behaviors to ask for more space from them, ask my friends at the shelter for details!I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a space of my own. I sometimes have a hard time sharing my treats, toys, or bed with other pets. Ask an adoption counselor for more information.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 60 Age: 8yrs 0mths 1wks
