Olive is a living adaptable female dog. We acquired her from a mutual friend of one of our daughters. Olive is 12-13 years old, we aren’t sure of her exact age wheel we got her. We believe she was around 2-3. She lives walks Ava is friendly around older large dogs not so much with small dogs. She lives to meet new people and have them pet and play with her. We are just not able to provide the activity levels she likes to enjoy.

She sleeps in her crate at night and for most of the day on the couch. Austin is at Project POOCH. To learn more and to apply, go here - pooch.org/austin When Austin knows you, he is sweet, playful and eager to be at your side. However he does need some time to build a relationship and get to know you. He can be sensitive about new situations but is realizing that he doesn’t have to be scared of novel experiences. Austin enjoys being around his dog friends and can adapt his place style to his friends’ needs. He is his most confident with his dog friends and we believe he would do best in a home with another dog. Right now Austin is working on his leash skills with the youth, and enjoying going on long walks on campus with staff. He is still a bit anxious to focus on basic obedience, so we work on pattern games to help hims regulate his anxieties and counter conditioning his nerves around people and new situations. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. He just wants someone to take the time to make him feel comfortable, safe, and secure. Austin’s ideal home would have another dog, to help him gain confidence, a family with patience to understand that he will need their help to navigate the world. Austin has had a home visit in the past and we learned that in that environment he shows some reactivity to strangers and other dogs. POOCH would be providing at least one training session with our lead trainer to help Austin learn the ropes and settle into a new home. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. Bonus, he can be ultra goofy!

HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally saved from a shelter many years ago, and just this past summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me and be patient, while I get adjusted to being loved. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, as I'm nervous in new situations, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health.
