We got Murphy when he was just a puppy from a local breeder in Oregon. He is sweet, lazy, snuggly, loves to go on walks, loves to sun bathe. I was only 15 when I got him and he has been through a lot of big life events with me. He has been through 3 different moves across the country and lived in various households while I was attending school. Murphy is 9 and will be turning 10 in June. I do not want to rehome Murphy...he is the sweetest most loving snuggly dog ever. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I are both pilots and our jobs are anything but sable and routine. Murphy deals with severe separation anxiety and we feel as if we have tried everything. Without schedule and a routine, dogs with separation anxiety typically never will recover and or feel secure. I want Murphys senior years to be spent in a loving home with a routine schedule. He is going to need someone who has the time and patience to train him to be secure. His separation anxiety is extreme and will take work.

I am in search of a home with active owners who can take me on fun walks and hikes, and I love to play fetch in the backyard. I am crate trained, have lived with two other dogs for the past 3 years, and thrive with consistent exercise and plenty of cuddles on the couch as well. My favorite treats are peanut butter and bananas, and I follow my people around like a shadow.
