Story
Hannah has been the most lovable mom and created such beautiful babies, but her puppies have left the nest, and it’s time for her to be back in the spotlight! She’s estimated to be about 4 years old, possibly a lab staffy mix, and she is known for being a complete Velcro dog? What does this mean? She is looking for a home where she will be cherished and invited and included in just about every conversation. She loves to stare into your eyes, as if she’s testing to see if you love her. She’s the kind of dog who is loyal and loves with her whole heart, and will do anything to make her people happy. She wags her tail the second she thinks you’re talking about or to her, and is evidently overjoyed once she is invited to come sit with you. A couple things to note: Hannah has not been around any small children. She met several kids around 7 or older and did great! But, she does startle with younger kids, so may be best suited for a home that is past the toddler stage. Hannah was briefly introduced to a cat from a distance, and her curiosity was intense enough that we would not place her in a home with a cat, even though she may have just been wanting to meet the kitty. We didn’t take our chances. Now the tough one… Hannah has only just been assessed with dogs, and she was non reactive on a least in the vicinity. But, once a dog got a little closer to her “bubble” she was evidently not comfortable. For this reason, as we continue to work with her, we would only be comfortable with dogs her size or bigger in a home that is able to quarantine and do very slow introductions. She very well may do great and would LOVE to have someone to play with, but we can tell she will need time to let her guard down. She was found as a stray, pregnant and ready to pop, so no doubt she is a little cautious and protective, just not knowing what she has been through. We know she had a home at one time because she knows sit and how to fetch, and loves her humans. She is now ready to find someone who will cherish her quirky little perked up ears, her tendency to lounge like a lazy fool, and her sweet asks for affection and attention. Are you looking for a sweetheart to love and love you back fiercely? Hannah’s your girl! https://forms.gle/676xUcmeQi9kdjn96

Story
Introducing Chance, the charming 2.5 yr old with a heart as big as his paws! This lovable pup found himself in need of a new home when his previous owner, a Veteran, unexpectedly passed away. Valley Dogs stepped in with determination to help him find his forever family. Chance is a bundle of joy and affection, and he's on a mission to win over hearts with his boundless enthusiasm. He likes to lean into you and give you full body cuddles. If allowed he would be a huge snuggle bug on beds and couches. Larger canine companions bring out the best in him, he is great with female dogs and human attention is his absolute favorite – just try resisting his irresistible charm! This sweet boy is all about the treats and will gladly sit for one, only to bounce back with love to spare. While he may be a bit exuberant, and his size is not to be ignored, we believe Chance will thrive best in a home with an experienced adult who can continue his basic training and provide the exercise he craves. Ideal for families with older children due to his size and the fact that when excited he can jump, Chance is ready to bring endless smiles and tail wags into your home. When you see him at the kennel he gets very excited to get out, but I would guess his personality would be much more couch potato in the home environment. He calms down much quicker than all the other dogs once he is out and just wants affection. I'm guessing from my fostering experience, he will be very trustworthy in the home when parents are away. I don't think he has met a person he doesn't like, but he would be a good watch dog. As for his compatibility with cats, Chance would rather only share his home with another dog/dogs and his humans. No cats or small animals. Rest easy knowing that Chance is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines, ensuring a healthy and happy future together. The only thing missing is his forever family! Don't miss the chance to give Chance a chance – he's ready to steal your heart and become your loyal companion. To set up a meet and greet with this sweet pup in Mesa, Arizona, reach out to Paula at spwheels1@gmail.com. The adoption fee for Chance is $250.00, a small price for a lifetime of love and joy. Act now, and let the tail-wagging adventures begin!
