Story
Koda, a Whippet, is an energetic and affectionate dog with a unique personality. He enjoys running around the yard, snuggling on the couch, and is not fond of cold weather or water. Despite his playful nature, he is gentle when receiving treats. Koda is not motivated by food and prefers to follow his nose during outdoor activities. He has been on camping and hiking trips, always behaving well. He is known for his obedience, sitting on command, and giving his paw for pets, especially on his chest, which acts as a turn-off switch. Koda is very attentive, often whining for attention and wanting to see you wherever you go. He gets excited when you enter the garage and is a cuddlebug in bed. He enjoys dancing, especially to the song "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)". At night, he gets excited for bedtime, ruffling blankets and pillows, and requires small breaks to drink water.

Story
Chloe is super smart and really well trained. I’ve had her since 8 weeks, and I spent a ton of time training her as a puppy and it has paid off big time. She’s SUPER sweet, and loves all animals and people. Her favorite thing is playing fetch, or playing with other dogs. She’s lived in an apartment her whole life, so she’s used to small spaces, but would love a bigger home and/or backyard if that’s what you have. She’s very well crate trained, and spends every night in one without a single fuss.

Story
Cece is a purebred chocolate lab. She’s very friendly and affectionate. We’re looking for a new home for her as we have a baby and another child at home and are finding it hard to adjust to having a new dog at the same time. We’re looking for a caring family that loves dogs, has had dogs in the past and will take great care of her.

Story
Back in March, we received a request to help a dog who had been roaming a trailer park after his family left him behind more than two years ago. For the last two years, Buddy lived outside through the hot summer months and cold winter nights. People in the neighborhood would take turns feeding him, but never did anyone welcome him into their family or their home. When we went to meet Buddy to see how we could help, it was obvious that life outdoors and poor nutrition was taking a toll on his body. Buddy had calloused elbows, patches of missing fur, itchy skin, and painful, infected eyes. He had become fearful of strangers or anyone trying to contain him with a leash. This boy needed help in a really big way. Without being able to be leashed, Buddy had to be carefully and strategically trapped so we could take him in to safety. After a month's worth of attempts, combined with loads of patience, Buddy was finally contained in the large 4x6 kennel our team had setup. He was finally safe and in our care. He was taken immediately to our vet for the medical treatment he so desperately needed. Since welcoming him into the rescue, Buddy has amazed all of us with how well he has adapted to his new “rescued” life. We are in awe of how healthy he has become and how great he is finally feeling. His coat is shiny, his eyes look clear, and he loves indoor living with a comfy bed and air conditioning. AND...Buddy now loves going for walks on a leash! Buddy is kind, gentle, loving and the sweetest old soul. He is now ready to find his perfect forever home --one where he can be treated like the prince that he is! Buddy is easy going and chill. He likes other dogs that match his personality and prefers older children, 12+. His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. If you're looking for an all-around good ol' boy, apply to meet Buddy today. His sweet spirit will melt you in no time. To apply to adopt: https://lovethemallrescue.org/buddy

Story
Livvy joined our rescue after finding herself on the euthanasia list at our county shelter. She was a senior mama girl with medical issues caused from over-breeding. Livvy was unable to urinate on her own and her abdomen was swollen. We rushed her to the hospital, concerned about infection or masses. After radiology reviewed the scans, they thankfully did NOT find any masses. They did discover that she does have Valley Fever* and was suffering from a significant bladder infection. Fast forward to a few months later, living the life in an amazing, loving foster home, our Livvy is feeling young again! Don’t let her age fool you... this girl has got spunk and a total zest for life! She enjoys walks, spending time with her humans, car rides, outdoor patio restaurants and calm, four-legged friends. She loves to spend time sunbathing and enjoying the weather in her own yard. Livvy will greet you with a full-on wiggly body and tail and immediately plop herself on the floor for belly rubs...if she doesn’t end up in your lap first! This beautiful girl EXUDES happiness and joy. She is sweet, loving, potty-trained and easy like a Sunday morning. She can go to a home with other dogs and children. Livvy’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, spay, vaccinations and microchip. To meet our precious girl, apply here:https://lovethemallrescue.org/livvy We promise she'll have your heart melted in no time! *Valley Fever is a non-contagious fungal disease caused from mold spores in the dirt, and it is sadly all too common here in Arizona. It is treatable with daily medication and supportive care.

Story
Hi! My name is Addie, but you can call me Precious or Darling or Sweetest Girl Ever. The folks at Forever Loved just love me and so does my foster mom. I came in to Forever Loved from the county shelter where their awesome volunteers spent double-time finding me a great rescue to transfer to, because I am so worth adopting. I am 7 years old, 41 lbs, and I am a Black Lab mix. I have not had an easy life so far, giving birth to multiple litters of pups, not having good nutritious foods, and not being treated for things like ticks, but no doubt the best is yet to come! I am house trained, I am good with other dogs AND cats, and I just love meeting every human, no matter who they are. Right now I am a little thin and saggy, but that is already changing as I get the love and care that all of us doggies deserve. I am on medication for a tick born illness, but that too, will pass and I will be good as new, probably better than ever! I was a little hesitant riding in a car because I’m not used to it but with you there to guide me and show me how much fun going places can be, I will master my balance. I do pull on a leash when going for a walk, but I am super treat motivated and eager to learn that, too. I love laying on a comfy bed and will even share it with my roommates in my foster home. I am so happy to feel the love and special attention from everyone I meet!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goose and Maverick were found eating out of a trash can in a remote area of northern AZ. These boys were shy and friendly, clearly not used to much human interaction but very much craving it. From the moment we welcomed them into the Paw Placement family, they were nothing but sweet and loving. They were also unfamiliar with the world and many things our own pet dogs find normal - such as a leash, tile floors, cozy blankets, nutritious food. But these boys quickly learned what the good life looks like, and they are blossoming in their foster homes. Goose is loving and affectionate, smart and eager to please, playful and energetic. He adores his doggy foster siblings, and we'd be hard pressed to find a home without another dog that we'd be willing to place him in. For the first 5 months of his life, Goose knew nothing but life with his brother Maverick and, while it would be unhealthy to keep the brothers together (google Sibling Syndrome if you're not sure why), it would be best to place both boys in a home with another dog as they rely so heavily on other dogs for comfort and security. Goose is house and crate trained in his foster home. Though their breed is a mystery, they look like they might have some retriever, some chow chow, along with a mix of likely many other breeds. Their coats are similar to retriever coats, smoother and shorter than you'd expect from a chow. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. We will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2024, 9:43 pm
