Story
Aqua and her sister came to us after a family member found them as tiny pups on the street. She is nearly three and is a very sweet girl. She likes to get her energy out in sprints and is otherwise a calm dog. She likes to lounge on her back in soft places and sleeps just fine in a crate. She and her sister have had bouts over food as puppies yet she has never shown any aggression to our other dog who is smaller and older even if he sniffs her food. Her trainers have told us this can be extremely common with littermates. We’ve had no problems for over a year now as they continue to eat separated in their own crates and can now wait for and accept treats side by side. She’s a gentle cuddler and I guarantee you’ll get lost in her loving, honey colored eyes. She enjoys daycare and boarding where she’s never produced a bad report card and she thrives most in a private backyard to get her energy out. She behaves well at groomers and vet as well. Out of caution, we use training aid collars.

Story
Back in March, we received a request to help a dog who had been roaming a trailer park after his family left him behind more than two years ago. For the last two years, Buddy lived outside through the hot summer months and cold winter nights. People in the neighborhood would take turns feeding him, but never did anyone welcome him into their family or their home. When we went to meet Buddy to see how we could help, it was obvious that life outdoors and poor nutrition was taking a toll on his body. Buddy had calloused elbows, patches of missing fur, itchy skin, and painful, infected eyes. He had become fearful of strangers or anyone trying to contain him with a leash. This boy needed help in a really big way. Without being able to be leashed, Buddy had to be carefully and strategically trapped so we could take him in to safety. After a month's worth of attempts, combined with loads of patience, Buddy was finally contained in the large 4x6 kennel our team had setup. He was finally safe and in our care. He was taken immediately to our vet for the medical treatment he so desperately needed. Since welcoming him into the rescue, Buddy has amazed all of us with how well he has adapted to his new “rescued” life. We are in awe of how healthy he has become and how great he is finally feeling. His coat is shiny, his eyes look clear, and he loves indoor living with a comfy bed and air conditioning. AND...Buddy now loves going for walks on a leash! Buddy is kind, gentle, loving and the sweetest old soul. He is now ready to find his perfect forever home --one where he can be treated like the prince that he is! Buddy is easy going and chill. He likes other dogs that match his personality and prefers older children, 12+. His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. If you're looking for an all-around good ol' boy, apply to meet Buddy today. His sweet spirit will melt you in no time. To apply to adopt: https://lovethemallrescue.org/buddy

Story
Livvy joined our rescue after finding herself on the euthanasia list at our county shelter. She was a senior mama girl with medical issues caused from over-breeding. Livvy was unable to urinate on her own and her abdomen was swollen. We rushed her to the hospital, concerned about infection or masses. After radiology reviewed the scans, they thankfully did NOT find any masses. They did discover that she does have Valley Fever* and was suffering from a significant bladder infection. Fast forward to a few months later, living the life in an amazing, loving foster home, our Livvy is feeling young again! Don’t let her age fool you... this girl has got spunk and a total zest for life! She enjoys walks, spending time with her humans, car rides, outdoor patio restaurants and calm, four-legged friends. She loves to spend time sunbathing and enjoying the weather in her own yard. Livvy will greet you with a full-on wiggly body and tail and immediately plop herself on the floor for belly rubs...if she doesn’t end up in your lap first! This beautiful girl EXUDES happiness and joy. She is sweet, loving, potty-trained and easy like a Sunday morning. She can go to a home with other dogs and children. Livvy’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, spay, vaccinations and microchip. To meet our precious girl, apply here:https://lovethemallrescue.org/livvy We promise she'll have your heart melted in no time! *Valley Fever is a non-contagious fungal disease caused from mold spores in the dirt, and it is sadly all too common here in Arizona. It is treatable with daily medication and supportive care.

Story
Angelique found herself on the county’s euthanasia list when she arrived at the shelter with a large, open wound on one of her rear legs. Being in a loud, scary environment and in so much pain, she was fearful and shut down. We knew her story couldn’t end there. All she needed was proper medical attention and time to decompress. We pulled her from the shelter and took her straight to the hospital for wound care. While her leg took weeks of dressings and bandage changes, it was only a few days after leaving the shelter that our sweet girl came out of her shell and showed us just how much love she has to give. While a little shy at first, Angelique warms up quickly to new people, especially if she has a doggy friend or two to help her feel more confident, or, of course, if you tempt her with a treat! Angelique loves to watch TV by your side or play outside with toys and other dogs. Her fosters call her “perfect,” which is easy to believe because she is crate-trained, house-trained, walks well on her leash and knows basic obedience commands already! Officially ready to find her forever home, we only ask that her new family give her grace and time to decompress so she canlearn her new routine in her new home. We promise this angelic girl will reward you with a lifetime of the sweetest kisses and keep a smile on your face with all her silly antics! Angelique’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Story
Please give a warm welcome to, Pete! Pete is a gentle and loving Great Pyrenees mix around 6-years-old with a heart of gold. Pete's journey to Sky Sanctuary began when his owner became very unwell and could no longer care for him. Though Pete may be shy at first, his big heart shines through once he gets to know you. The bond he forms is deep and truly worth the wait. Pete is an easy-going guy who is fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Currently, he is in Board and Train, where he is working on building his confidence. We are thrilled to see the progress he is making and are confident that he will be the best dog for his future owners. Pete's calm demeanor and loving nature make him a wonderful companion. He is ready to find a loving home where he can thrive and share his gentle spirit with a family who will cherish him. Story
Rori came to the rescue as an under-socialized, nine-month old puppy with her mom, Lorelai (who was already on the euthanasia list due to having Valley Fever). We couldn’t leave her daughter behind, so of course we pulled Rori while also saving Lorelai, and we are so glad we did! Rori has learned so much about the world and how to trust people in the short time she has been in her foster home! She is an active, playful and incredibly sweet young lady that loves both people and dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Rori is already house-trained and is progressing well with crate-training, leash manners and learning basic obedience. All she asks for in her dream home is lots of love and time to play, whether fetching balls with you or playing with furry siblings. After a play sesh, she’ll happily snuggle up to you for a cuddle or two. Rori’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip.
