Sami was rescued when she was six months old after being abandoned on the freeway. She is currently eight years old and in perfect health! Sami is sweet, friendly, athletic, snuggly with a little bit of anxiety from her time as a puppy. She would thrive in a home where she would be an inside dog. She doesn’t have experience with cats but has always been friendly towards dogs. She has been a family dog surrounded by children all day everyday and is very patient. Meet Lady, she was rescued off of the euthanasia list last year and spent some time at a board and train until she was adopted to what we then thought would be her forever home. Well we were wrong when last week we received a call from the local Animal Care and Control that they picked her up as she was abondoned in a Walmart parking lot and having her microchip registered to us brought her back into our care to find a forever loving home for her. She is a sweet loving girl that is crate trained housetrained and knows her basic commands from her training, but that being said she has a very high energy so we are recommending kids 10+ at this time and someone who loves to do lots of out door activities such as hiking and taking long walks, she also would probably do okay with another dog in the home after a proper introduction was done. She is in a very temporary foster home right now so we need either a foster to adopt situation or an adoption for her as soon as possible. Cooper is a 7 month old black lab. We believe he is mixed with something that gives him his white underbelly, but not sure what. We rescued him as a puppy and have raised him. He is crate trained, can use a doggy door, sleeps in crate at night, house trained. He progressing well in knowing Sit, Down, Leave it and Kennel. He is a still a puppy and gets excited around people. We are working with him to not jump, but some good training can help with that. He loves when the kids rub his tummy and snuggle with him because he thinks he's still a little guy. He does get protective around his treats and food and therefore small kids need to be cautious when he's feeding. We've been working on him with this lately. For this reason, I recommend he goes to a home with slightly older children understand how to work through that and help train him on it. He is energetic (still a puppy), love to fetch like most labs and is ready to play. Someone will be getting a great family pet.
