Gwen is an 8 month female Lab/Shepherd mix who is more than ready to find her forever family! With her “just right” medium energy level, she’s the perfect companion - always up for an adventure, but just as happy to relax by your side. She  enjoys going on walks and does well on a leash, making her a wonderful buddy for exploring the neighborhood or heading out for a fun day together. And speaking of fun days, Gwen recently had a Day Out with volunteers who took her to the University of West Georgia campus - and she did amazing! Story
Beetlejuice is a one year old male Lab/Pit mix who is as handsome as he is lovable. His rich chocolate coat and striking merle highlights make him stand out, but it’s his big heart that really steals the show. He’s a big boy and a big bundle of love and fun who adores playing ball. After playtime, he is perfectly happy to dry off while getting snuggles and pets, soaking up all the affection he can get. Beetlejuice has the cutest little grunt when he’s being loved on, and he will happily shower you with affection in hopes of getting even more in return. He does best walking with a harness, and enjoys greeting people and making new friends wherever he goes. Active and playful, Beetlejuice loves long walks and chances to run in the park, and once he’s gotten his energy out, his sweet, cuddly side truly shines. Overall, Beetlejuice is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless love to his forever home - come meet him soon, and see for yourself why he’s such a special boy. Story
Bailey is a very sweet, lab mix that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. Due to my busy work/school schedule. I haven't been able to give her the attention and love she needs, which is why I'm looking to rehome her. She is 10 years old and still has good energy. She loves playing fetch and absolutely loves going on walks and hikes. If someone is outdoorsy, they'd be a great fit for her. She is pretty well trained and knows a lot of commands. She is also leash-trained. She loves people, however, a few years back she was attacked by a dog while we were on a hike and has been unpredictable with other dogs. Typically she is fine, but if a dog is high energy or aggressive she will match that. She lives with a dog now and they are close so she can be ok with other dogs.

Story
A solid senior with plenty of life leftSerena is an older Lab-type girl who still has a lot of get-up-and-go. She’s easy to handle, straightforward with people, and has that familiar “big dog, big feelings about walks” energy—meaning yes, she pulls hard on leash, but otherwise comes across as a pretty typical, people-friendly dog.Outside the kennel, Serena seems simple and manageable. Inside the kennel, she can get worked up when other dogs pass by, which is pretty common in a loud shelter setting. The bigger picture here is a senior dog who still seems active, sturdy, and ready to get out of the building. She’s also dealing with some chronic ear issues and has a few masses that should be monitored, so her future adopter should be prepared to stay on top of her care and follow up with a veterinarian. If you like older dogs and don’t mind a strong girl on leash, Serena looks like a good one to meet.We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
