Story
Skye is a young 1 year old beagle/lab mix full of fun energry and loves to play.  She is full grown at about 40 lbs. Crate trained and house trained, walks ok on leash. Skye came to us Spring 2023 as an undersocialized older puppy with a few bad manners. We have been working on social skills and building confidence, Learning basic commands and curving the bad habits such as jumping up on people. She is great with people that she knows and trusts but still weary of strangers: prefers females to males. She would do best with someone willing to take time to work with her, take her to training and build on her confidence and skills. adoption fee is $300 Skye is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Story
This sweet girl needs a new home asap. I am moving out of our area and she needs a good loving home. She was adopted as a puppy at 6 months old. She is playful and affectionate and likes to cuddle. She loves to run in a yard or on a lease on the concrete. She is good with kids and plays well with other dogs her size. She is not a big barker. She likes to interact and sometimes will talk back. LOL. Not good for homes with cats or small dogs. No adoption fee is needed, only a promise that she will be loved like family.

Story
Meet Mickey, a charming 4-year-old male weighing 52 lbs, who arrived at the shelter on 2/20/24. Mickey was found as a lost boy with an ID, but unfortunately, no one came to reclaim him. Despite his ordeal, Mickey's spirit remains unbroken. He's a beautiful dog, both inside and out, radiating warmth and affection to everyone he meets. Mickey is incredibly friendly and loving, showcasing his good manners by sitting, staying, shaking, and laying down on command. Currently residing at Run #51, Mickey is eagerly awaiting his forever home. While he is heart worm positive, the shelter ensures that Mickey will be neutered and microchipped before adoption. He is already up-to-date on vaccines. Mickey's gentle nature and endearing personality make him a perfect companion for any loving family looking to welcome a furry friend into their home. His ID is 653797. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. Story
🐾 Hello, wonderful people! My name is Kip, and I'm here to share my story with you, hoping it'll lead me to my forever home filled with love, joy, and endless belly rubs. I might be just 10 months old, but I've already mastered the art of stealing hearts with my tan and white fur and soulful eyes. At 37 pounds, I'm the perfect size for snuggling up on your lap or joining you on outdoor adventures. My journey brought me to this shelter on 02/17/2024, after I found myself lost and alone. But don't let that worry you - I'm full of hope and excitement because I just know that my forever family is out there, waiting to find me. All my shots are up to date, I'm neutered and tested negative for heartworms, so you can rest assured that I'm a healthy and happy pup ready to bring some sunshine into your life. I will be microchipped upon adoption. Let me tell you a little bit about myself - I'm a great boy, super sweet, and really cute (if I do say so myself!). I'm playful and full of energy, but I'm also really smart. I know commands like sit, stay, shake, give me the other paw, and lay down - pretty impressive, right? You can find me eagerly waiting for your visit in cage #321, and my ID is 653773. So what are you waiting for? Come meet me and let's see if we're a match made in doggy heaven! Together, we'll share endless adventures, laughter, and love. I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together. 🐾 Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. Story
Hi, my name is Elaine! I found myself in need of a good home, and made my way to CCAS on 02/17/24. I am a 10 month old Labrador mix, currently weighing in at 37 lbs. I am a super sweet girl who is spending time right now growing my confidence. Lots of things are unfamiliar to me, but I'm clever and a quick learner. I need to work on my doggie commands, but will sit perfectly in return for a treat! I'm attentive and ready to learn. I am looking for a wonderful home where I will be a cherished family member! I am current on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; I will be microchipped upon adoption. Please, come meet me at kennel #302. My ID is 653774. Story
This handsome guy is Travis! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/14, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Travis as very smart, friendly, and well-behaved. He already knows several commands including sit, stay, and down. He's been calm in his kennel since his arrival, and Travis is definitely house trained because he'll do his business as soon as he's outside. He keeps his space very tidy! Travis is also easy to walk on leash so he'll be a wonderful adventure buddy. Travis is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 51 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Travis in run 883; his ID # is 653686.
