Story
We adopted Charlie Bear from the pound. We don't know what his history is, but we do know that he is a great dog. Because of his size (125 lbs), he seems intimidating. But he's a big softie. He loves to play, is very food motivated, and great with dogs, cats, and kids. Ideally he would need a big yard, where he can explore and play. He needs leash training, due to his size, we were unsuccessful in that area. But with patience and more knowledge, he would do great. He's very loving, and has a huge personality. He loves stuffed animals, but will destroy them quickly lol. Keep-away is his favorite game. We are moving to an apartment 2500 miles away, and he would not do well being so contained, without a yard to play in. He deserves a loving home with someone who would be able to devote time and energy to match his.

Story
Cynder Just had her 8'th birthday. She came from a litter of 5 puppies that my ex and I rescued when our water guy (in North Carolina) found them behind our house. We rehomed the other four, but I decided I wanted to keep Cynder. Her name came from her puppy nickname "blocky" since she was the only one with a block shaped head. When I made her mine, she became Cynder (Block). For the first 5 years or so, she and my other dog, Molly got along great! But year 5, something changed, and it got to the point where I could not let them be together anymore. Since then, they have been separated. One in a kennel, and one out. They still interact through the kennel bars as if they love eachother, but I can't trust them to be together. She is a HUGE lover, and a big sweetheart with people, though she's skiddish of young kids at first. She needs a home where she's the only dog, and she would be a great companion for someone. Last, she's Lab/Pit. Not Rot. Pit was not an option on here.

Story
We got Goldie from the Meridian Canine Rescue 4 years ago. She is currently 5-6 years old. She is very gentle and loving and never barks. She is around cats daily and gets along with them very well. She has been around other dogs in the past but after a traumatic event outside a couple years ago she has had severe anxiety about going outside when other people or dogs are around. Because of this she often uses the bathroom in the house. We live in an apartment complex and are going to be moving soon and will not be able to take Goldie with us. Goldie would probably do best with someone who has a quiet yard for her to get used to being back outside and with someone who has the time and patience to help her get past her fear of the outside world.

Story
Hello everyone!!!  I'm Tammie.  I am a really well behaved lady.  I don't get in trouble.  My foster mom says I'm adorable.   I am good in the crate and love walking on a leash.  I also LOVE cats...specially kittens.  I have been known to groom them.  lol  I haven't had much luck with other dogs in my past.  Some were not friendly towards me and made me a bit scared.  They used to eat all my food and bully me.  I would prefer to be the only dog.   Let me think.....things I don't like...getting my nails trimmed.  The previous owners used to hurt me and make my nails bleed.   I love treats and enjoy laying on the grass when it's sunny outside.  I am ok in the car also.   I have been waiting a long time.  I'm not puppy cute, but there is not much you have to teach me.  I will adapt very well to any living environment.  I am so ready to find my furever family.  Are you the ones???? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. We have scheduled transports every two weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest.      ##1618131##

Story
This is Midnight.  She has to be one of the most loving doggies at our rescue.  Not the most outgoing of the bunch, but opens up quickly once comfortable.  This girl loves to play in the yard, and respects when you are ready to call her in.  We have mastered the crate and baby steps when it comes to leash training.  This young doggie is very good in the car.  She will make a great additiona to any family.  She has been patiently waiting to find her loving family.  Are you her new human?
