Story
Meet Butters! Butters is a male, 5 month old, Labrador Retriever blend. He is 22 pounds and growing! Butters arrived at the shelter as a transfer from another shelter and is currently spending his time in a foster home until he gets adopted. He has had quite the journey and has traveled all the way from Hawaii to Idaho in search of his forever home! Unfortunately, his history is unknown, so we don't know where he came from, but we do know that his future is bright! Butters is a very typical puppy; sweet, lovable, and of course full of energy! He absolutely loves kids and other dogs and would appreciate another doggy friend to play with in his new home. He seems to have lived outdoors before and is still learning to go potty outside, but with a consistent routine he should catch on quickly! He will need all of his basic training, but luckily he is very food motivated, so it should be a breeze! Butters is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today! If you are interested in meeting with Butters, please reach out to Beth by phone at (208)697-3912 or email at ponygal18@gmail.com

Story
Meet Chuck!Chuck is a charismatic 4-year-old Terrier/American Pit Bull mix, tipping the scales at 81 pounds. He's a sweet and spirited boy with loads of potential. While he may be strong on the leash, he's actively in training and making swift progress! Chuck's endearing eyes and love for a tranquil environment make him a cozy companion, especially when snuggled up on a comfy bed. He relishes the company of someone close by and enjoys leisurely sniffy walks, engaging enrichment activities, and absolutely adores treats. Chuck's intelligence and loyalty make him an ideal partner to spend quality time with. He does well with kids that are 8 years and older.Considerations Before Adopting:1. Chuck is in training and requires a home that can offer him the time and love he needs. 2. Chuck is currently available for fostering or adoption, which can provide him with the opportunity to decompress and destress from his shelter life. Chuck will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how he will do with cats. Chuck is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today!Interested in Fostering or Adopting Chuck? Please fill out an application on our webstie.
