Story
Ellie was adopted from Kentucky Humane Society in October 2020. Completed the BeginnerObedience Class at Shamrock Acres Training Center the beginning of 2021. She prefers to be an only dog as she doesn’t always get along with others. Can be reactive towards other dogs. Does not like cats. She loves to snuggle, be outdoors, long walks, hikes, and scratches/belly rubs! She loves any attention someone can give her. She does bark (and has a loud bark) when someone comes to the door, if she sees another dog/cat/person out the window of the house and if she is in the car and sees another dog out the window. I am looking to re-home her due to a lifestyle change (newborn). I no longer have the time to give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Edel (short for Edelweiss) was adopted at 6-weeks old from the Humane Society in Louisville. We already had an 8-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. To put it lightly, the Chihuauhua has not been very inviting to her new younger sister. Meanwhile, Edel wants to play. She also wants to play, snuggle and go on walks with her adult human companions. Edel has so much potential to be a wonderful house dog. She is crate trained and can hold her bladder for up to 8-9 hours at night. The problem we have is that Edel requires more time and attention than we can give her. Great dog! (Sorry we don't have a picture that we can download to our desktop computer! She's is a beautiful black lab with wavy, shiny hair on her back and alert brown eyes.)

Meet Macy! This is what her foster parents had to say: "Macy May has the sweetest puppy head tilts you’ve ever seen. I swear she’s really taking in all the words you say. She loves meeting new people and shows it by shaking it like a salt shaker. Her favorite show is “Snapped”. Ok. Maybe her foster parents are true crime connoisseurs but she doesn’t seem to mind. Regardless, She’s a loving yet independent girl. Shes a curious gal but can also be easily entertained with a new chew toy. That is, until those puppy zoomies hit and she’ll having your head spinning and double over laughing. Macy is a low maintenance pup. Such a good temperament and not super attention seeking however she loves to curl up and fall asleep on your lap. She’s done great learning to walk on the leash and loves to play with her puppy brother and older foster fur siblings. Shes Comfortable around other dogs and new people and is currently working on potty training." Macy is a female, 16 week old lab mix. She will be spayed and UTD on shots. Her adoption fee is $200.00. Story
Hi! I'm Rubeus Hagrid and I'm up for adoption! The best way to describe me is, VELCRO! I like to be around my foster moms so much that they have to peal me off like a piece of velcro. I like helping my foster moms do dishes and cook. I also MUST go with them to potty since they go with me too, it's only right! I love to snuggle just as much as I love to play. I tend to take all my toys outside with me but I love to fetch so it works out. I'm still working on going potty outside but I'm only 16 weeks old. I have foster dog and cat siblings and I do great with them. I'm a male lab mix and I will be neutered and UTD on shots. My adoption fee is $200.00. Head to our website and fill out an application!
