I have had my dog since he was a puppy. He is a good dog, very friendly(although has a deep bark but is very nice once he can sniff you), he is very energetic during the day but mellows out if you can get his energy out. He is 6 almost 7 years old. Hasn’t had any health issues. Needs a family that can give him regular attention.

Story
Bernie is a 115 lb Lab/Shepherd mix located in Louisville (Jeffersontown area). He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Bernie is a loving, loyal boy who enjoys walks and being with his person. He’s medium energy — playful at times but mostly a laid-back lounger. He’s grown up with my son since he was a baby and is good with kids. He has experience living with dogs and cats. Bernie is house-trained, crate-trained (his safe space), knows basic commands, and is good on and off leash. He does have separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. He takes trazodone when left alone. No other health issues. He’ll come with his crate, bed, heartworm prevention, and supplies. Rehoming due to my work schedule — I want him to have the time and attention he deserves.

Story
Gusty is a chill dog who loves cuddling with humans, walks, laying on cardboard, and socializing with other dogs. He is typically low energy and always wants to be on someone's lap although he is always happy to go outside and explore. He typically needs a walk every 1 or 2 days or he can get the zoomies. He is a very quiet dog who rarely ever barks. He is fairly good on leash but can pull sometimes if excited and is a large dog (~75 lbs). He loves sleeping in the room his humans are in and meeting new people. He seems to be not cat friendly. He is a medium-to-heavy shedder; he will definitely leave hair on your clothes when he cuddles you! He tolerates long car rides well and loves exploring new locations. He is a shelter dog so his age (around 7) and breed (maybe a lab/pointer mix?) are guesses. He has no health issues and is up to date on vaccines, last vet appointment was 01/23/26.

Waylon is 4yrs old. I’ve had home since 9 weeks. He is the biggest baby. He loves attention (and snacks) he doesn’t hardly bark ever, loves to play tug of war and nap on the couch. Very good with kids and other animals. Needs someone who can give him more time and energy. Career change has me relocating and traveling where I can have him with me.
