Meet Armani!!  Born in July 2022, Armani is a Lab mix now seeking a forever home filled with unconditional love.  We want to get him into a REAL home where he can live his best life!!!  He is initially timid and wary of new faces, but he warms up quickly with patience and affection.  Armani, the epitome of cuteness and affection, craves the company of his humans, whether snuggled on the sofa or playing outdoors with his toys. His happiness knows no bounds as long as he is by your side. Given his timid nature and ongoing journey to regain trust in the world, Armani would do best in a child-free environment, preferably where he is the only dog.  He needs a fenced yard to give him a secure space to release his energy.  Armani displays remarkable intelligence, making great strides in his training, nearly mastering commands like Sit and Lay Down. Armani was taken in by a compassionate Muddy Paws volunteer.  He was found terrified in a bustling kennel, quivering in a corner, bewildered by the situation.  His moments seemed numbered, nearing what could have been his last hours.  Thankfully luck was on his side that day!  Help us give him another "best" day and apply to meet this sweet boy! This special boy is Archie, born May 2021.  He is friendly with all things canine, feline and human (all ages).  The perfect home for Archie is where is he has lots of access to the outdoors.  He loves exploring and being active.  A fenced yard would be a great place for him to stretch his legs and wander around on his own. Archie is not that great on a leash, so walking with him is not the easiest activity because he tends to pull.  If you're willing to offer some leash training, bonus points for you! Archie is house trained, crate trained and knows some commands.  He does have a quirky side and if you're looking for a canine friend that will alert you to nearly everything, Archie is your boy.  He just seems to like the sound of his voice or maybe he's anxious sometimes - it's hard to tell.  (He is currently on medication that helps some.)  Other than that, he's very well behaved. We know there's someone out there that doesn't mind a dog with vocal capabilities!  :)  The suggested adoption donation for Archie is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Being a German Shorthair & Hound mix, you can imagine that ol' Oscar is a lover of the outdoors! This sweet boy was born in May of 2015 and is still looking for a place to call his own. Oscar enjoys being around people, especially ladies, but he understands what it's like to need some space: your time, my time, and our time! Oscar experiences anxiety and because of this, boundaries are important to him. When his anxiety is low, Oscar is a goofy, playful boy who likes to chase balls, sticks, and rabbits. He loves, loves, loves long walks with plenty of time to let his hound nose get some exercise, and lots of exercise helps work off that extra energy that can make this handsome boy nervous! Because of his love for exploration, Oscar will need a fenced-in yard to keep him close to home.  Oscar is not kennel trained, but is totally fine being left to lounge around the house while you're away.  He's also housetrained, so no worries about that business! Oscar is a very smart dog who knows "sit", "stay", "lay down", "leave it" and he also knows that when he follows these fun words, he gets really yummy treats! Oscar's ideal home will be with an active person/couple who love to explore nature, just like he does, and who will love him like family while respecting his need for boundaries and independence! Macy is a German Shorthair Pointer, born in 2019.  She is a very loving and sensitive girl.  She's intuitive, smart and listens well.  Macy is dog friendly and gets along with kids of all ages.  (No cats or squirrels for this girl!)  She's a little shy around new people and will be protective of her people. Macy is house trained and crate trained, but she would prefer not to be kenneled.  (She'll probably bark and try to break out.)  She fetches and knows some commands. Macy is energetic and likes to be active.  She's leash trained and would love to go along if you're going for a walk.  Macy also does well at dog parks.   Here are a few more of Macy's favorite things: Kids! Car rides, long or short. Likes to be tickled when playing. Toys and playing ball. Room to run in the yard (fenced).
