She’s a gentle, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. While Louise can be shy at first, she has a playful, energetic personality once she starts to feel comfortable. She loves to play and has a fun, youthful spark that comes out when she’s relaxed and feeling secure. She’s the kind of dog who will surprise you with zoomies and joyful play after a slow, thoughtful warm-up. Louise will thrive in a patient, loving home that gives her the space and time she needs to feel safe. A calm environment, a predictable routine, and humans who allow her to build confidence at her own pace will help her blossom. With understanding and consistency, her gentle heart and playful spirit truly shine. Louise is looking for someone who appreciates both her quiet beginnings and her happy, energetic side and who believes that trust is worth waiting for. The adoption fee is $400 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday!! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them. Walks well with a no pull harness however fetch is not his choice of playtime. He’s done well with children around toddler age and above, we just think he needs more attention

Blue is to high energy for an apartment, with his size and the exercise he requires, a house is necessary. He is very affectionate but also loves nothing more than playing in any capacity from tug of war to wrestling to running around the apartment, he has very high puppy energy. He has not been socialized much but the interactions hes had with children and other animals have been positive. He does bark when people approach the door and is very territorial about his food. He is up to date on everything, paperwork will be provided, micro chipped, and healthy. He is experiencing some skin allergies at the moment but with the food I feed him, the fish oil and the countless medicinal sprays I have for him (which will all be provided) it is very manageable. Kennel and house broken. Comes with kennel, dog bed, blankets, large bag of dog food, medicine, toys, pretty much everything you would need for the first two months. I just want him to find him a good home and for him to be happy.

Meet Ella!! Ella is a 17 week old lab mix whose came to foster after being abandoned. She is the sweetest little thing her foster family has ever met. Shes adjusted well to the northern cold and is learning all the puppy things. She is a huge cuddle bug and is always looking for a lap to claim as her own. Her favorite toys include the ever elusive sticks in the yard and anything her brother Koe has. Ella is Koe's little shadow and loves to be anywhere he is. She is good with other dogs as well. **highly recommended to be adopted with her brother** Ella is available for adoption on contract to finish her vetting.
