Story
Blue man is such a SWEETIE has truly has been my one n only ride or die for the last 6 years. I have kids, and a smaller dog, at one time we had a very very small cat & he loves them all, just as we love him. This is so sad and breaks my heart but the apartment we are moving into does not accept dogs his breed. (Size is what it is I’m sure). He loves to play in the grass, roll around. He LOVES car rides and will hop right in. His favorite thing to do is to get back scratchies and to let his ears blow in the wind during car rides.

Story
Bandit is a 10-year-old, 68 lb Lab mix with the heart and humor of a 7th-grade boy — goofy, loving, and learning every day. He’s loyal to his circle and eager to find his forever family who’ll include him in all their adventures. Bandit thrives on activity — running next to an ATV, swimming, or playing fetch are his absolute favorites — and after a good workout, he’s the happiest, most relaxed boy around. He’s great with other dogs (he currently lives with two seniors), does well with kids, and loves meeting new people. Potty trained and kennel trained, Bandit does fine in the house for several hours and sleeps soundly in his own bed at night. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful, active companion who’ll make you laugh and love you endlessly, Bandit’s your guy! Story
Meet Otis! Otis is used to being a rural/farm dog and would enjoy to have a similar lifestyle in a new home. Otis enjoys treats and squishy ball toys. He knows "sit" and is eager to learn more (who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!). He has lived with other dogs and farm animals; he was both friendly and playful with them! He does not do well with cats and should not go home with small animals. He has not met children. He is quite nervous with new people and animals, so introductions should be slow to ensure a successful transition. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Location: Jackson, MN Hi everyone! I’m Rocky and I’m a labrador mix puppy. I’m super gentle and sweet. But my foster mom says I’m also a little derpy. I’m crate trained and sleep through the night. I don’t bark much and I prefer to sit and watch the outside world through the glass patio door. You could say I’m an avid nature lover. I’m working on basic commands and I’ll pretty much do whatever you say for one of my favorite dog treats. I’m also getting the hang of this leash walking thing— and now I’m starting to get excited when my foster Dad wants to go for a jog with me. I’m still working on a consistent schedule with feeding and potty training because I’m the “goodest boy.” I'm good with people and other dogs. But I'm still a bit of a shy boy for introductions. I'm a love bug and I can't wait to find my forever home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Meet Mischa! This beautiful, fun-loving girl is full of energy and joy. She absolutely loves to run, soak up affection, and wrestle with her foster dog friends—playtime is her favorite time! Mischa does have a bit of a playful prey drive (those squirrels and bunnies are just too tempting!), so a securely fenced yard is important to keep everyone safe while she gets her zoomies out. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to romp around with. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few minutes (and maybe a treat or two!) and she’ll quickly warm up and show you her sweet, loving side. Mischa is ready to find a home where she can be cherished the way she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion, Mischa might just be your perfect match. Bring her home, and she’ll love you with her whole heart—fur-ever. 🐾 Fenced in yard Required* Date of birth (estimated): 9/25/19 Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: No House Trained: Yes Adoption Fee: $150 Submit an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog

Story
Hi friends Abigail the Perfect here. My foster mom also calls me Abba-daba-ding-dong and Abacadabra. I came into a local shelter after being left in an apartment and later owner surrendered after neighbors called because I was having choir practice. When I came into the shelter I was a bit shy, but very quickly warmed up to people and discovered dog friends are AMAZING. I am overall a great girl, hence being titled "the Perfect," and I have loads of energy and a few quirks as I am still learning. Most importantly my priority in life is play. It is very important to have fun, and I maximize this every day. My foster mom says I am the only dog she has seen multitask play. I can chew on stuffy and kick a wobble ball around the yard at the same time! On balls...I have massive herding skills. I am not sure where I am herding the ball, but I will go and go and go. My foster mom calls this wrecking ball time because of the gleeful chaos I cause. With other dogs, I was initially really sensitive and would squeal when touched during play. That has changed and now I could play and wrestle all day. I am a bit relentless in encouraging friends to play and fully feel every dog will be my friend, if I just try hard enough. As a result I will go best with a doggie friend that has a similar attitude on play, or my doggie friend might not appreciate me as much as they should. I love wrestling and can be mouthy in my play. You know how I love toys? I also am ok with sharing my toys (my foster mom says that this should be slowly introduced in a new home). My biggest quirk is I have a passion for chewing through leashes and harnesses. I am working on it, but I am not a tie out kind of gal, because I can free myself with great ease. A fenced in yard is the ideal fit. I LOVE car rides and adventures. I have shopped at several store and had a grand time. I do occasionally attempt to shoplift because I do not understand money, so that needs to be watched. I don't want to end up in jail. I am house broken and crate trained. In my crate I do have choir practice now and then, so shared walls might not be the best fit. On training, I know sit, shake and down. On leash, I can pull and do best with a harness. My ideal home is looking for a playful, social, energetic dog. I would love another friendly dog companion but that is not needed. If someone is interested in dog sports we might have a really good time trying together. I am pretty much a go anywhere dog. When I am bored I can get a bit playfully mouthy and I do not always watch where I am going so older kids might be a better fit. I am in my canine adolescence and still learning. I generally have good house manners, but sometimes need reminders that shoes aren't toys (shoplifting). When my foster mom is doing chores I am always willing to lend a helping paw by following her around and offering my assistance and inspection services. If I sound like a match, please fill out and application so my foster human can talk to you!
