Story
"Z" is a sweetheart to humans, lap dog, loving to snuggle & tuck his head in anywhere. We adopted him last year without knowledge of his background other than he is from Alabama. We suspect he had some trauma, as he is fearful of any noises -jumps & runs away. He also has some scars. Our other dog is a grumpy, senior Shitzu that avoids him. My son's pitty plays with him regularly, they get along fine. He has recently shown aggressive behavior toward other dogs, but we strongly feel he was in defense mode both times. The 1st was defense of one of his humans, with the other dog hurt. 2nd was defense of his pitbull pal, & a human got hurt by one of the 3. I don't want him euthanized over this, my heart hurts at the idea. He'd do great with someone who can dedicate snuggle time every day & lives a quieter life than our home. I think he needs a fenced-in yard with someone that has knowledge to help him work thru his trauma. Vetted and shots Aug 2023 & I will include his Simperica Trio.

Story
Meet Mr. Stiltz! Mr. Stiltz is a lanky sweetheart ready to find his forever companion. He is super smart and learned basic commands quickly including "wait" and "sit". He is also potty trained and does well in his crate (especially because he knows that is where he gets special treats!). Stiltz is still all puppy energy and is working on not jumping or counter surfing, but with a bit more training he should have that down in no time. He is great with other dogs and loves people of all ages. He would do best with older children because he sometimes forgets how big he is. Stiltz' loves all toys but playing fetch might be his favorite. If he is not too distracted, he will even return it to you! He is truly a sweetheart and will melt in your lap if you prefer to snuggle but is higher energy and needs daily exercise. Story
Location: Randolph, MN Hi, I'm Nugget, a very sweet but cautious girl. I need a patient and loving family willing to take things slow as I learn to trust my human companions again. I'm great with other dogs, big and small, and simply ignore my feline friends. I am fine with kids, but with my shy nature, I'm not quite ready to be playful with them. I am fully potty trained but not a fan of going outside for too long. I prefer a quick walk to go potty and come right back in the house-ideal for our cold winters. I show my affection by periodically sitting next to you or giving a quick lick of the hand, but I mostly enjoy keeping you company while laying in my nearby dog bed. I love to sleep in my cozy crate all night long with no whining or waking you up. They call me Nugget because I have no tail whatsoever so it's hard to tell when I'm really happy, but the good news is I won't knock over any drinks from the coffee table. I'd be perfect in a multiple dog household, so I can continue learning how to be man's best friend. If you're looking to rescue a deserving dog with a heart of gold, please consider giving this sweet Nugget a chance. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Rockford, MN Hi! I'm Runner, my foster mom has been calling me Kolsch. I'm a very sweet boy who has come a long way in just a few short months. I'm learning that being part of a loving home is THE BEST! I'm a smart cookie who is very food-motivated and learns quickly. I am house-broken and crate-trained. I haven't met kids yet, but I'm really good with people so I think I'd do well with the little ones. I'm great with other dogs and so far so good with the cat in the house. I love snuggling, napping, dog toys, and playing tug-of-war or fetch. I'm obsessed with belly rubs. My foster parents tell me I'm such a good boy and make such a great family dog. With a little continued TLC, I just know I'll be the bestest boy. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Cynthia is a 6 month old lab mix. She is a very smart girl! Cynthia loves to swim, chew on bones, and to cuddle on the couch. She is a good girl in her kennel, but loves to cuddle in bed with you at night. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She is nearly completely potty trained. Her foster family has no idea why she has not been adopted yet, because she is such a good girl! A perfect family for Cynthia would be an active family with some kiddos to grow up with! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Burbank, SD Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend! Hey, so am I and my name is Marley! I don't care how old you are but in case that matters to you, I'm just a cute puppy born on March 14th 2023 and I'll need lots of attention and love. Sometimes I'm a little on the shy side but just need a minute to get to know you. My momma was incredibly lucky to have found this great foster mom who let my mom crash and have me & my 6 siblings. My mom and siblings all have been adopted in June and I sure would like to find a forever home. My foster mom has me kennel trained. She likes to play tug of war, sneaks me treats, play outside, and during TV time she cuddles me like a baby. She thinks I'm super cute when I try to get my ears to stand up strait. I enjoy supervising her garden time and making sure she waters all the flowers and vegetables. I do take time to chase and play with the other dogs that live here and I love the outdoors! The resident kid is the best and she sneak me treats, lets me play softball and play on the trampoline. My perfect match would be someone who will be patient with me and teach me all the doggie things. When I'm not admiring your every move, I'd love to be playing with children. So, what do you say?
