Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gizmo, a 2 year old Lab X, a little man with a BIG personality and a heart full of love. This adorable pup has earned himself several affectionate nicknames, including 'Mo', 'G', and 'G-man', all stemming from his original name, Gizmo. Giz man's unique blend of charm and determination makes him an absolute delight to be around. G gets along famously with other dogs and knows how to hold his ground when necessary. He's a real softie at heart, especially when it comes to snuggling up in cozy blankets, which he loves to messily rearrange to create the perfect resting spot. He even believes he's a pro bed-maker and is always ready to lend a helping paw! When it comes to playtime, G's energy and curiosity come to life. He's an avid chewer, so soft stuffed animals are a no-go, but he's all about hard chew toys that keep him entertained. He may not be a fan of water, avoiding the family pool and lakes, but he takes full advantage of sunny days to relax and explore the yard, sniffing to his heart's content. G is no stranger to adventure, enjoying car rides from short trips to the barn to long journeys all the way to Florida. He's a smart boy who knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash after a brief initial pulling phase. However, his stubborn streak may show itself from time to time, but it only adds to his endearing personality. This playful guy has a keen sense of hearing, which makes him attentive to every sound, though he's selective with his barks. He might make a great hunting partner? G loves the thrill of the chase and can't resist going after birds, squirrels, and rabbits in the yard. He's also fascinated by frogs and toads, often thinking they'd make for a tasty snack if given the chance! Yuck! While he may coexist with a cat, G-Mo has to be kept separate due to his natural instinct to chase when the cat runs. However, when it comes to people, he's a sweet and friendly companion, albeit a little shy initially. But that shyness quickly fades away, especially if treats are involved. This wonderful boy is up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered and chipped, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. If you're looking for a four-legged friend to bring love and laughter into your life, G-Man might be the perfect addition to your family. With his loving nature and mischievous charm, he's sure to win your heart in no time!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 24, 2024, 4:17 pm

Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi! I'm Runner, my foster mom has been calling me Kolsch. I am a ball enthusiastic couch lounger and cuddler extraordinaire. I love my dog friends and love to play with toys- tennis balls and stuffed animals are my favorites. I am an easy going house guest and a perfect gentleman and do my business outside and go into the kennel willingly and settle right down. I currently live with a family that has two kids aged 7 and 9 and love being around them. I love car rides, however when I am in the car I sing the song of my ancestors and bark a houndy bay. It's great but not according to my foster mom. I get really excited when I see other cars whizzing by, on walks too. I need to work on that some more. I just can't help it. I also go to the daycare and I have to say I am a star there. Everyone is fond of me and is excited to see me. What can I say? I think I am quite a catch! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Redwood Falls, MN Callie-CalCal-Cal A little bit about Callie, she is a very smart and loyal dog. She knows sit, shake and is working on lay and stay. She sits and waits next to her bowl for food. She is learning to eat slower and not gobble it down. She lives with two young kids, she is great with them but prefers to play on her terms. She would probably do best with older kids who would be aware of her boundaries or with no kids. She also lives with 2 elder dogs and 1 cat. She would benefit from being with a younger dog she can play with and follow their lead or she also would be okay being the only dog. She is aware of a kennel but is not a fan of being in one. Callie walks on a leash but can be reactive, she will pull and bark at other dogs. She is also very leery of people she doesn't know. She won't let them touch her and dodges them but she loves her people unconditionally. With continued exposure to people and some training I can see her being very successful. She is very active and needs someone that is able to keep up with her with walks and exercise everyday. At the end of the day she is the first to snuggle up on the couch with you. When it's time for bed she has been sleeping in the big bed with her humans. Callie would do great in a consistent but active household. If this is you Callie would be a great companion! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Lakeville, MN Hi! My name is Aven, but my foster family calls me Ava. Inside you can find me chilling in my dog bed, somewhere near your feet, or cuddling you on the couch! Outside I love a space to run free! I'm your typical 1(ish) year old lab, with spurts of energy, but don't let my excitement fool you, I'm always counting down the time until my next nap! I know things like sit, wait, leave it, and am constantly working on more commands! I wouldn't mind a sibling close to my age in my forever home to learn from, run around in a fenced in yard and play with! I may require a slower introduction to my new dog sibling(s) but will love them after we get to know each other better. Or if you want to keep me a single dog and give me all of your love, I wouldn't mind that either! I also have a mini human at my foster home, I love that little guy. I'm excited to find a forever home with a family who will give me lots of love, attention and want to live an active life with me! Maybe that's you and if so, I can't wait to meet you! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Brookings, SD Meet Mr. Miles, the lover boy. This little guy loves to venture every nook and cranky. Miles loves to spend time outside as much as he can be. He does get in a playful mood and runs circles around his fosters older dogs. Miles does find himself in trouble when his nose gets the best of him and tries to see what his foster mom is cooking by popping up his two front paws to the counter. He knows basic commands especially sit when a treat is involved. He is food driven and is working on sit and stay before his food is placed down. He has done well on walks without pulling more than an average puppy would. He loves to check in on his foster children (3 yo and 1.5 yo) with a lick or two. He is a jumper when you haven't seen him for awhile and we are working on getting his excitement out without jumping. He has a large bark on him and will bark when startled in the morning or when it is dark out. He quickly understands when you tell him enough or be quiet. He hasn't expressed any interest in the foster cat and stay his distance. Miles is a great boy who is ready to please and bring joy to a forever home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Lil Johnny is a wonderful little puppy! He is working on potty training, but really any accident he has in the house is right in front of the door to go outside. He knows where he needs to go, but we are just too late in getting him out. He is great in his kennel and loves to sleep and cuddle in bed at night! He is kenneled while his foster parents work during the day and keeps his kennel clean. He loves to play with the other pups in the house and has been around cats, but really doesn't pay any attention to them. He does know sit, but still working on other commands. He has the cutest, funny ears- one seems like it is broken . When he is excited, his entire body wags! He loves to play with toys and hard chew bones.
