Story
hi! this is bou. He is going to be 2 years old in july! He needs a backyard where he can run and be himself, sadly i cant offer him that. The lab in him loves to dig and use that nose. He grew up with kids, so he is kid friendly. I am looking for someone that has a fenced in yard, because he WILL get off of his collar/harness. He is kennel trained but will escape if you don’t lock it, because he is very smart. He is a wonderful, loving dog. i would love to see him go to a home who meets all of his needs to give him his best life. thank you.

Story
Cooper is an older gentleman weighing around 75 pounds. But don't tell him he is a senior or a big dog. He thinks he's young and smaller than he is. He loves his toys and going on walks, so he take in all the different smells. Cooper came in as a stray and has been a good boy at the shelter. He seems to like other dogs. Cats, well, he would need to learn that they don't like to play "Pounce the kitty" If you would like to meet this guy, please contact Oak Grove Animal Control and Shelter at 816-690-3773 ext. 1006

Story
Duke is a 5 year old male that LOVES attention. He is such a gentle soul and would be the perfect addition to a home with someone that can give him attention and security. He is scared of storms, so it is recommended that he have a companion when there is a storm incoming/present. Duke can be left in the house unattended with no past concerns. He also does excellent in a fenced yard. Duke can be around children of all ages, dogs of all sizes, and he has had some exposure to cats with no issues. This boy is just the SWEETEST! He just needs a little extra love around storms. We have not sought alternative methods of coping (it thunder jacket, anxiety meds, etc)

Story
Thank you for stopping to read about me! I came to the shelter a few months ago with my two siblings, and we were names after the cartoon characters, Alvin and the Chipmunks! We were all adopted out, but I have since been returned to the shelter since my adoptive family could no longer keep me. It was nothing that I did wrong. I am still a puppy, and will need some training (including potty training), but I know I will be a quick learner! I just need a forever home that will take the time to put me on a schedule, and teach me how to walk and have good puppy manners. I love seeing the staff and volunteers at the shelter, but I sure would love to be part of your life. I will provide you with love and affection. Please come meet me and see if I might be a great fit for you!
