Story
Bessie and Hettie are bonded purebred Labrador Retrievers. We think they are sisters. They were found as strays nearly 2 years ago and are still looking for a forever home. These senior sisters are full of love towards all humans and can get along with dogs after they know the new dogs aren't going to hurt them. These girls have various health concerns, with their advanced age that's to be expected. We are guessing them to be 13ish years old. (As of June 2023). Bessie is the black girl, she's overweight and mellow. She had a couple benign tumors removed and is slow to get up at times. Probably no long staircases for her. She's just full of love though, melts into your touch and rolls over for belly rubs. Hettie is the chocolate girl and she's spry and no mobility issues for her. She does have some severe allergies. We've tried food trials, medications, and nothing has helped completely. It seems to be environmental and we have a bunch of fields, trees, etc around us. She's just as sweet as Bessie with humans and a bit more concerned of other dogs. These sisters need a home willing to give them love and inside comforts for what little bit of life they have left. They currently live in an indoor/outdoor run set up and I'm not sure if they are housebroken or even been a house pet before. Their adoption fee is covered....can you give them a home?

Story
This is Country. I adopted him three years ago because he was in a bad situation. He's a super loving, high energy good boy that gets a little nervous sometimes. He doesn't do well around small children or dogs but is fine around bigger kids and cats. He has been in a home with dogs before, but I haven't been able to have him around other dogs. He's the sweetest, most snuggle loving dog around and he deserves a wonderful home and someone to love him all he wants!!!We have to move out of state and unfortunately are unable to take him with us. He had two wonderful homes lined up, but they fell though. Please, please give this good boy a home! The shelters won't take him and he deserves a chance! He is kennel trained and has his own kennel, flea/tick chewies, and toys as well as two beds (well loved) and a blanket. He's 40lbs and probably 6 or 7. Current in shots till this year. He's very loving! He never chews up anything and never goes potty in the house.

Story
I acquired my dog for Wayside Waifs in 2018. She is part Lab and part Collie. She is a very loving and loyal dog. She has energy and also enjoys to cuddle. She enjoys walks, especially going to the park. She enjoys people watching from the deck, can do that for a long time. The best home would be a couple with or without kids. She would be very comfortable with one parent. It would be best if she is the only pet. Callie is 8 years old and very healthy with all shots.

Story
Buddy is the sweetest boy. He loves people and other animals. He has been in a home with kids ages range from 6 to 16 and lots of outdoor animals. He would love to find a home that has lots of activity and options to run and play with his family. He was born in April of 2022 and is a purebred Labrador Retriever. Registered with papers. He has been with us for about a year but with our work schedules changing and I have recently started having severe allergies with both cats and dogs we are unfortunately looking to find Buddy a new home. We love him and he will be missed. We just want him to be well cared for and loved.

Story
George was dumped out in our area and during a cold and rainy snap he followed my husband home. I let him in, fed him, and dried him. We noticed he has a lot of energy and he has not been playing well with our other dogs. He loves to play fetch and needs someone who can teach him how to run on a leach and exercise him regularly. We have paid to get him neutered, we have given him bravecto, and had our vet check him out. He’s healthy and doesn’t have any health issues he just needs attention and training.
