Please share! Moss is a sweet lab-mix boy with a ton of personality. He's pretty doggone cute, too. His coat looks brown in some light and black in others, and he has an adorable nubbin of a tail. And those airplane ears? Be still my heart. Moss is about eight years old and 65 pounds--perfection! This guy lights up when he plays with his dog friends, so much so that we think Moss would benefit from having another dog in his new home. His favorite toys have squeakers (yay!), and he'll play fetch with you and chase with his dog buddy. When it's cold outside, Moss likes to cuddle up and rest his head on your lap. During the summers, though, he can be found rolling in the grass and sunbathing. No matter the season, he appreciates butt scritches and belly rubs from his people. Moss is incredibly smart. He knows how to sit, stay, come, look at me, touch (your hand or a post-it placed somewhere), shake, lay down, and find it). Moss is very treat motivated, so teaching him new things will be a breeze. He likes to be challenged with puzzles where food is the reward. (We're with you on that one, buddy.) Young kids make Moss nervous, so he'd prefer an adult-only home if you don't mind. I'm telling you Darius is just that! A sweet little treat in a fancy package! This handsome man is the sweetest combination of snuggle bug and playful pup! Darius may not have had the best upbringing. He was saved from a hoarding situation, where he just didn't get much socialization with people. As a result, he is unsure right at first, and may sniff you, move away and circle back while he figures it out. But, if you just give him a little bit to process the new humans, he will literally melt into you! He loves scritches, and to be with you wherever you are. He loves to play with toys, and is a big fan of other dogs! He has figured out housetraining, and though not a huge fan of being crated, he is fine once he goes in. He loves treats and is learning a few manners. He sleeps all night in his dog bed. His only fault- he has no idea how big and strong he is. His tail is in constant motion and can hurt when he's super excited- and if he's missed you big time- he really wants to greet you by jumping up. (We are working on that particular thing because he comes in hard with those hugs and if you aren't ready for them...Woof) He's getting there! So- if you are looking for a little chocolate to sweeten up your life- there is no need to look any further than this hunk! He's a lover and guaranteed to melt your heart! Meet Sabrina! Sabrina is a pittie mix, and she’s a firecracker of energy who would make for a sweet companion for an active household. She walks well on a leash, and she does simmer down once she gets some energy out. Her energy level is in part because she’s in a boarding facility where her time to play is always limited, so we believe she would settle into a home environment very nicely. Sabrina’s good with most other dogs but would would need some time to get used to sharing her home with another pet as she hasn't had to since being in our program. She’s friendly with everyone, but as she can be so excited at times, she would be best suited for a home without very small children that she might knock over with kisses! Sabrina wants to remind you that it’s not easy to find a home when you’re a black dog, and she would love an opportunity to meet you and melt your heart.
