Mahogany is 3 years old. We got her from the shelter when she was just a baby. She’s quiet but her presence is definitely noticed! She’s so sweet and loves all the cuddles! Mahogany is very patient with my toddler and also her Shepherd sister who likes to herd her around always. She will take your shoes if you let her. Though I do feel like she’d love to stay with her sister, I do believe Mahogany would thrive on her own. She loves the dog park, and also enjoys the water!

She loves people a bit too much and will get excited and, sniiff and lick anyone top to bottom if given the chance. She has been fully vaccinated and on flea, tick, heartworm prevention throughout her time with me. She walks very well on lease but I haven't trained her off-lease and will chase squirrels off lease. She will make a great companion dog for any family due to her mellow nature and she can match the energy fellow human and IMO she will find a family very quickly due to here gentle and house-trained nature. The only "hard" maintenance about her is that she SHEDS a truckload of white fine hair all around the house. I would have wanted to keep her as my life-long pet because she is that great but my moving out of country really makes it impossible for me to take her with me.
