Do you think this guy realizes he was put on a transport to find a forever home, and mid transport his adopter bailed on him?  No probably not, because he entered a temporary foster home where he is loved. But his foster was temporary and he desperately needs a permanent spot.  Juno 42.8 lbsBlack lab mix6 months Neutered male  He is working hard on house training. Is crate trained. Friendly to dogs of all sizes. Sebastian is 6 years old and loves watching dod YouTube videos. He’s very loyal dog and thinks he’s still a puppy. Loves to cuddle and thinks he’s a lap dog. He is nervous when it comes to other dogs as he has been bitten a few times but once comfortable, he is fine and loves to play!

Hondo is almost 3 years old (4/15/23). He’s very active and would benefit from an equally active family. We had him in overnight training for a few weeks locally in 2024 because the goal was for him to be a therapy dog, however the trainer told us he’d be better for hunting or sports. If you hunt, please know his nose skills aren’t all that great haha. We bought him a few hours away at a farm when he was a puppy. He’s great with babies/toddlers/kids and he likes playing with another family members pit bull. He’s very sweet and LOVES cuddles, but also enjoys running around in the backyard and playing fetch. He’s definitely an alert dog so if someone is at the door (or the wind blows) he will let you know. He’s NOT a guard dog because he will play with any and everyone who will pay him attention!

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If this were baseball, STEW would be a utility man, just the guy who fits in every situation, he is the coolest dude.  Even the 2 male alpha dogs that I have here love to play with STEW.  Everyone loves STEW and he loves everyone even though he is independent but will follow me around if I am in the kitchen and offering treats!  He takes treats kindly from you and he is treat motivated, well-mannered and obeys. STEW is listed at a Lab/Terrier mix but he is just a special kind of different breeds and that makes him special.  He is crate trained and potty trained and walks very well on a leash and likes to go for car rides.  What he really likes in staying in the door watching people walk by, he is a bit nosey. At 1 1/2 years old and 20 pounds he has reached his adult height and weight, he is a medium-small guy and a great companion who likes to hang out with you and play but he is not always in your face kissing and being a nuscience like some dogs can dog.  STEW is a great dog who deserves a great home. I do not have any cats in my home so I do not know how that interaction will go.  If you are interestesd in adopting STEW, please submit an application on the website below.  Of course you can call me anytime if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
