Story
Layla came from a kill shelter in Texas and was a temporary foster before adopted. She is a sweet, energetic, snuggly girl who loves attention, pets, and exercise. Layla loves all people and is happy to just be with you. Unfortunately due to 12+ hour work days and adult children no longer living at home to help, her quality of life is not what she deserves any more. She would be a great fit for anyone who has the time to spend with her and enjoys walks even a few times a week. If you think she would be a good fit for your family, please reach out!

Story
Name: LucasBreed: Lab Mix DOB: 10/30/25Gender: MaleWeight: 8 lbsLocation: Buffalo, NYAvailable for adoption January 23rd.Meet Lucas from the Stranger Things litter! Lucas is an adorable lab mix, (mom was chocolate lab, dad unknown), who loves everyone he meets! If he is awake, his tail is wagging. He has the cutest little puppy wrinkles on his head that he just loves getting pet. He’s a super happy puppy.Lucas currently lives with 2 young children and loves playing with them. After a few rounds of fetch or playtime, he’s more than happy to curl up in a lap for some cozy snuggles. He’s doing great with his puppy basics: Lucas is working on potty pad training and does especially well when he’s in his playpen space. He’s also adjusting nicely to crate training, after a few minutes of puppy-style protesting, he settles down and is quiet overnight. While his foster parents are at work Lucas does well in his play pen. He is happy to curl up on his bed with some toys, and catch some z’s. Lucas’s foster family believes he’ll adapt well to just about any loving home. As with all puppies, he still has sharp puppy teeth and nails, so families with young children should be mindful and help remind little ones to handle him gently. He loves treats and will do great with a family that will continue working on training him. As with all young pups he is working on his basic manners (personal space isn’t in his vocabulary yet). But he can easily be redirected with some of his favorite toys. He just loves to be near his people. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate puppy who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Lucas might be your perfect pup! If you are interested in adopting Lucas, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the page to get on his list if already approved! ##2630325##

Story
Meet Gus Gus is a handsome 4–5-year-old Pittie/Pyrenees mix weighing about 62 lbs, and he’s ready to find a calm, loving home where he can truly thrive. He was originally adopted as a puppy and has been deeply loved ever since—but with the recent arrival of a new baby, it’s become clear that Gus would be happiest in a quieter environment better suited to his needs.Gus is a sweet, people-oriented boy who loves companionship, snuggles, and being close to his humans. He’s housebroken, leash trained, neutered, and fully up to date on veterinary care. He also loves other dogs and enjoys regular daycare playtime, making him a great candidate for a home with a friendly canine companion.Because Gus can feel anxious—especially when left alone—he would do best with a family that can offer routine, patience, and lots of reassurance. He’s not comfortable around babies or toddlers, so a home with older children (around 7–8+ years) or adults only would be the best fit for his success and happinessGus is truly a wonderful dog with so much love to give. With the right home, he will be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be part of the familyIf you’re looking for a devoted best friend and can offer Gus the peaceful home he deserves, we’d love to hear from you. ##1416484##

Story
Name:  JoyceDOB: 10/30/25Breed: Lab mixSex: FemaleWeight: 13.5 lbs Hi! I’m Joyce from the Stranger Things Litter, and I’m a sweet, happy girl looking for a family to love, play, and snuggle with. I’m pee-pad trained and crate trained, and I sleep through the night while keeping my crate nice and clean, pretty impressive for a puppy, if I do say so! I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, kids, and everyone I meet. I love being held and cuddling when I’m tired, but when I have energy, I’m all about playing with toys or romping around with my friends. I’m hoping to find a family who will take the time to teach me fun commands and cool tricks, give me guidance and love, and help me grow into the very best girl I can be. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and snuggly companion, I might just be your perfect match If you are interested in adopting, Joyce, please complete apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the page if already approved! ##2630317##
