Meet SkylarAge: 5 years Weight: 51 lbs Breed: Labrador mixSkylar is a gentle, loving girl who enjoys peaceful walks and relaxing at home with her favorite person. She’s affectionate and calm, happiest when life is quiet and predictable. She’s looking for an adult-only home where she can be the center of attention—no children or visiting kids, and no other pets. Skylar wants a home where she doesn’t have to share her space or the people she cares about most.Like many dogs, she has a few quirks. If she gets her paws on human food, she tends to guard it, so it’s best to crate her during meals or keep her out of the kitchen when cooking. It’s an easy routine that helps her feel safe and sets her up for success.Skylar will thrive with someone who understands her and is ready to give her the steady, loving home she deserves.Call 716-731-4368 ext. 0 to meet Skylar.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Jill! I am a 60 pound lab mix who is just over a year old and nearly full grown. I have been told that I have the most beautiful big brown eyes and the softest fur! I can be a little shy when I first meet new people but once I get to know you, I will be your new best friend. I love attention from my people, being petted and getting snuggles is what I crave. I love to eat and those things they call treats are my favorite, give me a treat and I will follow you anywhere. I love playing with toys, any toy will do!! I also love to play with my foster brother, he is a little guy so I try to be gentle with him. After I get done playing with all my toys and my foster brother, you will more than likely find me snuggled up on the couch chewing on a good bone or taking a little nap. I am crate trained and working hard on my potty training and I almost have that mastered. Although my foster dad is definitely going to miss me, it really is time for me to find my very own family and home, would you be interested in making me part of your family? I will be waiting for you, please apply at BuffaloCares.org. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Essex – a.k.a. Essie! Hi there! My name is Essex, but my friends call me Essie. I'm an adorable male puppy with a heart full of love and a nose that’s always on the lookout for treats—yes, I’m very treat motivated! I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training, but I’m a quick study and making great progress. I already know how to “sit” and I’m currently working on giving my paw—pretty cool, right? I live with two other dogs who I absolutely adore, and I also share my home with two little kids. I'm incredibly gentle with them and love all the humans I meet! At night, I sleep soundly in my crate for a full eight hours like a champ. I’m playful, love my toys, and I’m always ready for a game of fetch or a run around the yard. I’m just looking for a forever home where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and part of the family. If you think your home might be the perfect place for me, please apply @Buffalo CARES I can't wait to meet you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Oxford! Hi there, I’m Oxford, a sweet Lab/Hound mix puppy!  My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest pups around — and I think she’s right! I’m a playful, affectionate little guy who loves being around people and other dogs. I spend my days wrestling with my K9 foster sisters (a gentle 9-year-old Lab and a spunky 4-month-old Terrier) and hanging out with my human foster siblings. I adore kids of all ages — from toddlers to grown-ups — and I’m always ready to give kisses and cuddles! I’m working hard on my manners, learning not to jump when I get excited, and I'm picking up potty training quickly. Treats are my favorite, and they make training super fun! My foster mom says I’m a fast learner. I’m already crate trained and sleep soundly in my crate all night. Oxford is looking for a forever home full of love, playtime, and snuggles. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, tail wags, and a loyal best friend, I might be the perfect fit for you. Story
Kash is an amazing and loving dog. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him, but i found out im pregnant and have limited space, and most apartments will not allow him because he is over 40 lbs (50). I rescued him from a home where he was stuck in a cage almost 24/7, and never let outside to use the bathroom. only the pee pad that dropped down into his crate that didnt fit him too well. When i rescued him i knew what i was going to be getting myself into. He does have a bladder issue, which is being worked on and he gets better everyday. He also is ALWAYS in need of water. He would do best with someone who is retired or home most of the day. He loves to cuddle and play with his ropes and run free outside
