Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.It is so hard for me to believe that MARTY and his brother Doc are still with me. They are wonderful boys to play with, very smart, easily trainable and well behaved. MARTY is a typical puppy, 5 months old, mixed breed puppy and weighing 25 pounds. I know they have some lab in them and will probably reach at least 40 pounds as adults. These 2 brothers were found wondering a construction site in San Antonio, TX. The smaller boy MARTY has some brown on his face and he is the more submissive one. Very gentle and kind-hearted. He loves to play and he sleeps right at my feet no matter where I am; in the recliner, on the couch or in bed. He likes to cozy up. He follows his brother around to a certain extent but they are NOT bonded, they can be adopted separately. DOC is the other brother that is just a tad bit taller than MARTY. He is more outgoing and very social but a sweet puppy who is just a typical puppy who plays, eats, sleeps and plays some more. He can be found in the middle of the other foster puppies playing and running zoomies in the backyard. Both boys are doing really well on their potty training. I am home most of the day and have time to let them out very often, but they are getting the hang of it. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. If you are interested in adopting either of these boys please submit an application on the website below. More pictures are available once you email me. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If this were baseball, STEW would be a utility man, just the guy who fits in every situation, he is the coolest dude.  Even the 2 male alpha dogs that I have here love to play with STEW.  Everyone loves STEW and he loves everyone even though he is independent but will follow me around if I am in the kitchen and offering treats!  He takes treats kindly from you and he is treat motivated, well-mannered and obeys. STEW is listed at a Lab/Terrier mix but he is just a special kind of different breeds and that makes him special.  He is crate trained and potty trained and walks very well on a leash and likes to go for car rides.  What he really likes in staying in the door watching people walk by, he is a bit nosey. At 1 1/2 years old and 20 pounds he has reached his adult height and weight, he is a medium-small guy and a great companion who likes to hang out with you and play but he is not always in your face kissing and being a nuscience like some dogs can dog.  STEW is a great dog who deserves a great home. I do not have any cats in my home so I do not know how that interaction will go.  If you are interestesd in adopting STEW, please submit an application on the website below.  Of course you can call me anytime if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Well lets just tell the truth, ALBERT is a special kind of mutt who is just a very loving and ideal companion for any family.  His mother is a spaniel terrier and since we found her on the streets, his daddy could be any breed. He fits in perfectly in any situation, he adjust well to any change in the foster home.  ALBERT plays well with all of the dogs big and small but can be a bit submissive sometimes.  He has no aggression in any area.  He shares his food and his toys. ALBERT and his sister BABYGIRL were born in my home August 2023 when I rescued their very pregnant mother from the streaming hot streets of San Antonio, TX.  Of the 7 puppies that were born here ALBERT & BABYGIRL are still waiting for their homes. He is crate trained and does not cause any problems at all, he is low-key and just a really good dog all around.  ALBERT is very loving and likes to sleep with me when there is space available, he would love to have his own human that will give him love and attention. I do not have any cats in my home to know how he would get along with them.  If you are interested in adopting ALBERT or his sister BABYGIRL, please submit an application on the website below.  If you have any questions, feel free to call me.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Very playful, fun, family dog.  This pretty boy is MILO, a 1 year old, 45 pound lab mix and we are not sure what he is mixed with we know for sure that he is a great buddy to humans and super playful pet companion.  MILO came to us from our very high kill city shelter when he was extremely emaciated and barely weighing 3 pounds at 3 months old.  With much love and plenty of groceries, MILO quickly caught up and started enjoying life as a goofy dog.  His goofiness has stayed him.  MILO is fiercely loyal and very loving and of course he wants to be a lap dog but simply stands at my side and allows me to rub his head.  If anyone else is getting  attention, he runs over to get his share. MILO is also crate and house trained.  Since he is in a foster home, he is normally crated when the human doggy momma has to leave the house because there are other fosters around of which MILO play very well with.  He would love to have a home of his own where he will receive more attention and walks that he loves to do. If you are interested in adopted MILO, please call me or submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ALBERT is almost 2 years old in August, 2025 and a typical playful puppy who was born in my house.  He is part of a litter of 7 born from a long hair chihuahua/Springer Spaniel/terrier mother.  I have no idea who dad is.  I rescued the mother from the streets during the 100 degree weather heavily pregnant. ALBERT weighs 20 pounds and I believe has reached his adult height & weight already.  His mother was only 22 pounds.  This little boy would really like a home of his own with a yard to run around in.  I do not think he would make a good apartment dog.  He is eager to please and loves hanging out with his adopted sister CIRI. ALBERT was adopted into a home to be a companion to a female dog and that has been wonderful.  The female dog is no longer depressed and so happy that she has ALBERT to play with.  The owner is asking to rehome ALBERT because he does not get along with a male family member who lives in the home.  ALBERT does get along with other male family members as well as strangers who enter the home.  He is a lover and very social and friendly with everyone.  It is just something about this one nephew that ALBERT feels uneasy about.  ALBERT is not mean or aggressive, it is just 1 person out of many that he does not get along with. He has already proven that he will make a great pet playmate and a loyal companion to the owner.  They are heartbroken to have to rehome him and only want the best for him. If you are interested in adopting him please submit an application on the website below OR contact Dusty at 210-387-5228 to discuss scheduling a meet and greet.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
