Story
A soft-hearted sweetheart bursting with life, joy, and love, Honey is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and never give it back. This three and half year-old lab cross' happy spirit shines through in everything she does, from her enthusiastic sniff-filled adventures to the way she lights up around her favourite people. In the home, Honey is an absolute dream. She’s calm, affectionate, beautifully behaved, and a total crate superstar. She settles easily, loves being near her people, and has that comforting, gentle presence that makes a house feel more like home. Out in the world, Honey’s happiest place is a quiet park with plenty of room to roam, sniff, and explore at her own pace. Give her open space, a peaceful trail, or a calm suburban stroll, and you’ll see her relaxed, engaged, and happily trotting alongside you with her curious nose to the ground. Watching Honey enjoy the simple things in life like soft grass, fresh air, and a good sniffing route is pure happiness. Honey is a sensitive girl, and busy streets full of noise, traffic, bikes, and close-up dogs can feel overstimulating for her. Because of this, she’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who lives in a quieter suburban or country setting and can help her manage her leash reactivity. The beautiful thing? Through it all, her love for people never wavers. Her temperament with humans is truly exceptional as she is sweet, trusting, affectionate, and full of heart. Honey doesn’t need a perfect home, but she does need one where close encounters with the canine kind will be minimal. In return, Honey promises unwavering loyalty, joyful adventures, endless cuddles, and the kind of love that feels extra special because it’s been earned. 🖤ADOPT PANDORA🖤 F | 7Y | 23 KG | Mixed breed | Spayed | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate Trained | Good with dogs | Cat tested | Not kid tested | Fostered in London A gift from the Gods themselves. The jewel that lights up every room she is in. Our Pandora will open your world up with newfound joy, adventure and tons of cuddles! You know what they say, girls just wanna have fun and Pandora is no exception! So take her on walks or show her some cool tricks, she is here for a good time! She may seem a little reserved when you first meet her, but after some time, she can come out of her shell and make new furry and human friends! Her sweet curiousity leads her to want to make doggie friends, and with the right support and introductions, she can develop great canine companions. With new humans, Pandora would love it if you introduced her to your friends so she can warm up to them and make them her friends too! Noises can be a bit scary for Pandora, so it is something to be mindful of as you guys work together to help her adjust to her new life. She is also a flight risk within the first couple of weeks, meaning even in a fully enclosed yard and in the house - it's important to keep that leash on until she's fully decompressed and settled in. As with any dog, Pandora would greatly benefit from proper structure, boundary setting, and lots of love and patience. She is an absolute gem and is looking for the right family to help her sparkle to the max!

Full of curiosity and personality, Bitty Cent loves exploring the world around her, turning everyday objects into entertainment (socks and shoes are particular favourites!), and inviting her people to join in on games of tag around the house. She's a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and will happily greet strangers with a wagging tail and plenty of kisses. Bitty Cent is a true foodie who gets excited about mealtime and has never met a treat she didn't love. While she's not the type to seek out constant cuddles, she does enjoy some quiet snuggle time after waking up from a nap before she's off on her next adventure.Bitty Cent is doing wonderfully with crate training and settles nicely overnight and when left home alone. Given her young age, she would likely adapt well to a home with cats, dogs, and children. She's had guests over and has charmed everyone with her playful, affectionate personality, soaking up all the attention she can get. While she enjoys being around her people and may follow them around when she's in a playful mood, she's equally capable of entertaining herself with a toy when her family is busy. She's already learned cues like sit, lie down, paw, and stay, showing just how smart and eager to learn she is. She's also working hard on her house training and continues to make great progress. On walks, Bitty Cent is a curious and confident pup who generally does well with traffic, cars, bikes, and other dogs. She enjoys sniffing everything she can and, like many puppies, likes to investigate the world with her mouth. She walks nicely on leash and responds well to gentle leash guidance. While the sounds of traffic don't bother her, unfamiliar noises - such as neighbours moving through the hallway - can catch her attention, and she may run to investigate with an occasional bark or low growl. She can also be cautious when startled by new sounds outdoors and may appreciate some reassurance or even being carried while she builds confidence. Bitty Cent does show some prey drive and may pull toward small animals on walks, so continued training and guidance in these situations will help set her up for success. With her fun-loving spirit, adaptable nature, and endless supply of puppy antics, Bitty Cent is sure to bring laughter and joy to the lucky family who welcomes her home.Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Bitty Cent? AGE: 3 yearsSEX: FemaleBREED: Lab MixENERGY LEVEL: MediumDOG FRIENDLY: Yep!CAT FRIENDLY?: UntestedKID FRIENDLY?: Likely!Meet Money! This beautiful, gentle girl is as sweet as they come. Calm, friendly, and a little goofy, Money has a quiet charm that wins people over wherever she goes. She may be a bit shy initially and take some time to settle into a new environment, but once she's comfortable, her playful personality begins to shine. Recently retired from a demanding career in motherhood, Money is now embracing the joys of self-care, long sniffy walks, belly rubs, and discovering the world around her. She's a true food enthusiast with a particular fondness for yogurt, peanut butter, chew sticks, and punctual meal service. While she's still learning how to play with toys, she's beginning to let her fun-loving side emerge more each day.Money loves exploring the outdoors and taking her time sniffing everything on walks. She currently lives in a busy downtown environment and handles it beautifully, only occasionally feeling overwhelmed by larger crowds. Even then, she's quick to recover and move on - especially if a tasty treat is involved! She's incredibly friendly with people, greeting them with a wagging tail and often approaching for pets and attention. While she isn't an overly cuddly dog, she enjoys being close to her people, happily sitting beside them and occasionally leaning in for scratches and affection. She's house trained, crate trained, and does well when left alone, settling herself after a few minutes of whining. She's generally content if her people are working in another room and has shown herself to be an easy companion to live with. Money already knows cues like sit, down, and wait, and she responds well when asked to "slow" on walks.Money could live with another dog and has calmly initiated interactions with some canine friends. She can be intimidated by larger, barking dogs and would likely do best with a smaller, calmer companion who can help show her the ropes. She was recently reunited with her puppy, and the two had a wonderful time playing together. On walks, she may pull when she's excited or curious about another dog or something interesting in the environment, though she doesn't bark or react. She does have a prey drive and would happily chase after small animals if given the opportunity. While she isn't particularly vocal, she may bark when she's reached the end of her patience or is extremely excited, and she may whine if she needs something. Money would love a family who enjoys spending time outdoors and can give her plenty of opportunities for long, sniffy walks and exploring the world around her. Continued socialization and encouragement as she learns how to play and build confidence will help her flourish.Overall, Money is a sweetheart through and through. She's affectionate, obedient, adaptable, and full of potential. She may take a little time to open up in a new home, but once she does, you'll discover a loyal, goofy companion whose gentle nature is impossible not to love. If you're looking for a calm best friend who is ready to enjoy the next chapter of life by your side, Money may be the perfect match.Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Money? Story
Pongo / Neutered Male / 6 Months / Lab mix? / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: 13+ / Location: East Garafraxa Meet Pongo (again!) This handsome boy was adopted earlier this year but sadly returned just a month later. Pongo is a truly special pup who needs an equally special home to match. At just 6 months old and 45 lbs, Pongo is full of energy, smarts, and heart. While we were told he might be a Border Collie/Lab mix, we aren’t entirely sure, what we do know is that he won’t get too much bigger and that he’s 100% adorable. Pongo can be nervous in new situations or around unfamiliar people, but he’s been working so hard to overcome this. He even spent several weeks with our friends at stylek9dogtraining, where he learned amazing skills that will set him up for success. His future family will continue his journey with a few follow up classes, already covered in his adoption fee, because consistency is key for this sensitive boy. What makes Pongo amazing: Walks beautifully on leash, calmly and politely (even sitting at stops!) Crate trained & fully housebroken Snuggle king who always wants to be near his people Playful, smart, and food motivated, he learns fast! Loves doggy friends, is good with cats, and would thrive with or without another dog in the home Because of his nervous nature, Pongo would do best with older, dog savvy kids. A yard to run, play, and chase squirrels would be a dream for him. To help him settle in, Pongo will even come with his special “place bed” included in his adoption fee, we want to give him every chance to succeed. Pongo is sweet, loving, and so ready for a family who will understand his past and nurture his bright future. Could that be you? https://forms.gle/gMSrMCVFqQ3fb5gN8

Story
Annie / Female / 1.5 Years / 33 lbs / Lab mix / Good with Dogs / Good with Kids / Good with Cats / From Mexico / Fostered in Toronto Follow Annie’s journey on Instagram @rescue.ranger.to Annie has had a bit of a rough start to life. Found as a tiny pup suffering from malnutrition, parasites, and a coatimundi bite (Annie learned the adage of "never pick a fight with a coati" the hard way), she's since been rescued by caring people and given both food and medical care. Now, this sweet, loving, and above all, cuddly girl is searching for a forever home. When you first meet Annie, the first thing you'll notice is that she's a shy dog. She doesn't come bounding up to play, and she doesn't view everyone as a friend she just hasn't met yet. You have to spend time with her, earn her trust, and then you'll find that this girl is the sweetest little love pup you ever did see. Annie's three favorite things are snuggling, napping on someone's lap, and belly rubs, in that order. She'll happily spend all day snuggling on the couch—it's her happy place. Annie is always in the mood for couch cuddles and a long nap in her humans' arms. It'll take some work, but once you're in, she'll stick to you like glue. Just as with people, new dogs need to be introduced slowly and calmly, letting Annie get used to their presence at her own pace. Her best possible canine companion would be an older, confident dog that understands her needs and doesn't rush her to play. Similarly, young children will need to give Annie her space until she's ready to interact. Cats are likely a fine fit for her somewhat skittish personality. Although she'd prefer to spend all day as a couch potato, Annie still needs her exercise just like everyone else. The good news is she's an excellent walker; she doesn't pull on the leash, heels when asked, and doesn't react to passing people or other dogs. She's afraid of loud noises and busy streets, so definitely take her to a quiet park or neighborhood for her to get her steps in. Speaking of steps, Annie often walks with a bit of a limp due to an injury from her puppy days that didn't heal properly. She has trouble going up stairs and keeping her footing on slick floors like tiles or hardwood. She'd do best with carpeted floors and either a single-floor home or an apartment with an elevator. Annie is potty and crate trained, and while she's known to steal the odd sock, she doesn't exhibit any destructive behaviors when she's left alone for a few hours. She doesn't have a lot of obedience training because she's a bit nervous outdoors, but she's definitely food motivated, so a patient teacher will probably have some success teaching her in a quiet area. What Annie mostly needs is a calm, quiet home with a patient guardian to help build up her confidence. Once she's settled in, she'll bloom into the most loving dog anyone could ever ask for. If you’re interested in adopting Annie, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form Annie’s adoption fee is $850.
