Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This sweet girl is 6 years old, and she weighs about 52 pounds. She was surrendered to the shelter along with two other dogs, and we think that she would do well with furry friends in her new home. Ari had a mast cell tumor removed from the top of her head while in our care, but the vet was able to get good margins, and all she was left with is a scar. Ari is a sweet girl, but it can take her a bit to warm up to new people so we recommend bringing the whole family by for a meet n` greet. If you are interested in meeting Ari, please click the `book now` tab on the top of our page to schedule an appointment, and an adoption counselor will be available to assist you!

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hondo is a very loving dog. When we sit on the couch, he flops up against us and won't let us up. When we come through the door, he almost knocks us down to hold us and grip us. He almost flips furniture to give us kisses. He's also had a very hard life. He's had heartworms and been abused. He shouldn't be in a home with other animals and needs a lot of singular attention. He can accidentally hurt you: when he stands or jumps up to hug you, he uses his paw and nails to grip you and hold onto you so you don't leave him. So he can pinch. His excitement also leads to destroyed furniture as he likes to climb things to reach food. He's destroyed the top of our couch climbing over it. He coughs and wretches due to past heartworms and needs to live indoors due to this. He cannot survive outside. He should also not be locked in a crate He enjoys walks and trots, and rolling in the grass. He loves to look into your eyes. He also loves eating, and eats very quickly due to his past abuse
