Story
• Goofy Labrador personality!• Very happy when he’s with his people - absolutely lights up when he sees you!• Loves affectionate + being pet• Needs a secure fence - he has scaled fences before. Spryer than he looks, but it adds to his charm• Such a couch potato! Will cuddle you with his whole, huggable body• Knows sit• Walks with a loose leash, very easy-going!• Medium to lower energy - he would be great for a work from home companion• Former owner noted he needs to be the only pet in the home; is cat reactive, not dog reactive

Please email foster for more info at, planetpup704@gmail.comBruiser requires attention. Demands it, actually. But giving affection back? That’s a no. He’s been on plenty of meet-and-greets, yet somehow remains available because instead of greeting potential adopters, he stands across the yard, locks eyes, and conducts a full character assessment. No barking. No tail wag. Just intense staring while silently listing your flaws like, “Questionable shoes… poor posture… interesting life choices.”Don’t be fooled by his tough-guy act and RBF (Resting Bruiser Face). Under that hard shell is a goofy, squishy, silly little boy who just pretends he’s not emotional. He is dog-friendly, but due to his dominant personality, he prefers another dog who is confident, chill, and not easily offended—basically a dog who won’t cry when Bruiser steals their bed and their dignity. Cats remain an unknown because Bruiser has not yet submitted his official opinion. He’d do best in a home with kids 12 and up. Younger kids might be scared of him… or emotionally damaged by his judgmental facial expressions and unsolicited criticism. Once Bruiser decides you’ve passed the vibe check and warms up, you’ll be rewarded with a bubbly, sweet, affectionate boy who is equal parts clown and cuddlebug.Adopting Bruiser means accepting love, laughter, and the constant feeling that you are being watched… and judged. But if you can handle the sass, he’s worth it.
