Story
My son rescued a dog from wandering along the roadside and they have fostered it for the last 6 months. Need to rehome her. We need to find her a forever home as soon as possible. We found this loving dog on the side of the road about 6 months ago. (Reported to animal control, checked for chip and posted everywhere- no one claimed her) We’ve been fostering her for the past 6 months, but now that she’s about 9 months she really needs someone who can give her more attention than we can and who has the time to play with her. She is currently approx. 45 pounds. A fenced in yard would be a big plus. The Vet indicated that she appeared to be a mix of Lab and German Shepard. Potty trained. Crate trained. Spayed. Micro-chipped. All shots up to date. No health issues. Great with children and other dogs. She’s SO SWEET. She is full of love and affection. A little submissive around other dogs.... if they bark at her she rolls on her back. She plays well with our 3 year old daughter.

Bullseye is a great dog and has been with us for the oast 9 years, we are relocating to Ohio and we will not be allowed to bring him with us. He is fully trained, house trained, knows all the basic commands, not really sure how he is with other pets in the house. He loves people and kids. He would be a great best friend to someone looking to have a partner to go on walks, hikes, play fetch, etc..

Story
Goldie has been through so much in her short life! She deserves to get out of the rescue and be adored by a family that will love her and spoil her forever! Goldie is the BEST dog! She is trusting, loving, affectionate, playful, joyful and just full of zest for life. I have fallen in love with her spirit, and you will too! Goldie was pulled by our rescue on her last day at a high-kill shelter. She was thought to be late-term pregnant. I met her at the shelter with my two children, ages 12 and 13. She was immediately smitten with them. Her tail never stopped wagging and she gave kisses to everyone in the lobby. We took her to the vet and found out that, not only was she NOT pregnant, but she was dying of a severe infection in her reproductive system. Our community members came together and raised $3,000 to cover all her emergency surgery expenses. She went in for emergency surgery and did great. She was smiling and wagging her tail as we walked her out of the vet hospital. The staff there had fallen in love with her--she has that effect on people. She then recovered over the next month. We discovered that she is heartworm positive. Her heartworm number was very low and she will be done with treatment in the next few months. It is not contagious to people or pets, and it just requires a few drops of the treatment into her food. She is fully healed from her surgery. Goldie has completed her antibiotics for the infection and made a full recovery. She is dog-friendly and kid-friendly. She is fully housebroken, and crate trained. Goldie enjoys playing with other dogs at the rescue, so she'd do well if there are other pets in the house. She is a gentle, loving girl. PLEASE give this girl the CHANCE SHE DESERVES at the best life!!!! Please begin the process to meet her by filling out the adoption application online. It is very brief and requires 2 personal references (not family members, please). Visit www.pawsitivelypamperedpets.com and click on the "rescues" tab and scroll to the bottom of the page for the app. I hope you have room in your heart for this girl. She will only fill you with joy. She's an inspiration!!!! You can email me, Wendy, at wendymwheeler@gmail.com with questions. I'm a volunteer and soial network coordinator for PPP Rescue. Thank you!!
