Story
Meet Wraven – your future best friend with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes! Wraven is a spirited and affectionate girl who lives for two things: belly rubs and a good game of fetch. If you've got a fenced yard and a decent throwing arm, Wraven will be your biggest fan! She's also a big fan of peanut butter Kongs, cozy crates, and lazy morning snuggles. This intelligent pup is not only sweet—she’s a quick learner, too! Wraven has mastered Sit, Drop It, Bed, Wait, and Shake, and she's now confidently heeling on leash during walks. She’s made huge strides with her training and thrives when given structure and praise. Wraven sleeps soundly through the night and wakes up ready to shower you with love. She adores her people and is always up for cuddles, leaning into you for affection and asking (politely) for belly rubs. Wraven has interacted gently with young children, though due to her size and enthusiasm, a home that can offer supervision around little ones is ideal. She’s previously lived with cats, but her instincts tell her to chase—so a feline-free home would be best. While Wraven gets excited when she sees other dogs and wants to play, she’s still learning how to greet calmly on leash. With continued training and a patient adopter, she’ll become an excellent walking and social companion. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She's ready for a forever home where she can truly shine.

Story
I am a sweet girl and I love to play fetch! I have not always gotten along with other pets (mostly cats, but I have been dog selective) in the past, so please consider that if you have other pets, I`ll definitely need slow, monitored introductions to other pets in a new home - and those introductions will take time. But I`m definitely a people pleaser and I will make you smile! My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Notes from Pepper`s friends & caretakers:`She is a very strong, big girl! She requires a bit of muscle on leash, but she loves walking with you outside, taking in the sights and smells. She likes getting pets from strangers and gets a little spooked by loud sounds. She will stand watch if she sees another big dog nearby. She’s high energy but will sit for treats. Tennis balls are a big hit! She wanted to say hi to everyone and make people friends.``Pepper is the absolute sweetest ...she’s big and full of love. She’s very excited for everything, and always happy to see everyone! Despite her age, she`s very playful, and enjoys a decently long walk. I really enjoyed my day out with her. She would be your absolute best friend.` `Pepper is so sweet! She gave me a friendly greeting and hopped into my car without hesitation. She was calm and well behaved on the ride, and likewise on our hike as well. She passed walkers, runners, bikers and other dogs without issue, and was friendly toward people along the way who wanted to meet her. Very mellow, but definitely up for an adventure! We first explored Homestead Park, and then went down to Chapel Hill Forest, enjoying a long hike through the woods. Pepper very much enjoyed her time both on the trail and in the car! She was very calm, with a soothing presence, but also had plenty of energy for a long walk.``Pepper was a bundle of joy! She was friendly and welcoming right away, with no fear. She walked amazing on a trail with other people around. She really is the sweetest dog and was absolutely perfect! We took Pepper to a nice trail for a little hike and then took her home to relax and play! Favorite thing: Her demeanor, she is super sweet and loves giving kisses!``Pepper is a gem. I have taken a few dogs for sleepovers and she has been the best. Chilled, loving, gentle and house trained. Walks well. She also does not bark unneces

I`m a sweet boy and I`m excited to find my new home! I will need a home without cats - I do not do well with cats. But, if you have the right spot for me, I`ll make you smile every day!
